But only the Democrats can select the debate moderator. Isn't that the rule?

He needs to announce making marijuana federally legal. Last night Kamala said they would decriminalize marijuana. Trump needs to get on that shit now to take away their ONE good idea.

I know many of liberal friends that said this would make them vote for Trump.

Colorado regrets legalizing marijuana

I thought Reagan made it be illegal? Have I been been lied to

Prohibition of weed was cool when it meant lenient penalties and a tax free black market.

Now it's just a mess.

Legalize weed! Love it!

I've said for years that he should do this right before the 2020 election. It would take the wind out of their sails on an issue they've clearly been setting up to use to grab more power, would probably force a decent number of lefties to reconsider him at least a little bit, and we're at a time where the momentum seems to be in legalization's favor anyway.

The Dems capitalize on every bullshit extrapolated short term statistical trend, so why shouldn't we capitalize off of an actual one?

Voting has already begun, so it's now or never. I think uniparty war on drugs special interests preclude this outcome.

SHE'S LYING

Trumpnis way ahead of the dems on that. Brian lamsa is a lead on that as a presidential consultant. This year was supposed remove federal barriers. Marijuana is a right wing cause people its capitalism and natural.medicine. I won't vote for Biden even if Trump said he would shut all weed down. But he won't. I have 58 veterans working in the mj industry for me. Im A disabled career veteran. All my vets are combat veterans and pro weed and pro TRUMP. Freedom is for all, so if ykubhave a laundry list of biases you should ditch em and stick to the constitution. Weednisnt the government problem to solve

I wish there was a Vet run shop near me. There is one by my parent's house and I only use them when I visit. Thank you for your service and for employing our vets. I live in a county that outlawed physical shops, but deliveries are okay. Legalize it and only tax 2% for the feds, they will make billions and America will be even better for it.

Absolutely not, and not for reasons concerning marijuana.

Legalization or decriminalization is best left to individual states. We do not need a federal level policy on this that will be wielded like a leash on citizens in future elections. I want the federal government to stay out of my business on things of this nature.

Trump has already weighed in on this debate by not acting upon the issue. Proof? Look at all the other areas such as funding for states with sanctuary cities, laize faire attitudes on rioters, federal ban on critical race theory teaching, etc.

Kamala's bullshit promise is nothing but. It implies the same thing as when they insinuate that Republicans will take away social security. What they are really hoping for is a blind addiction to Democrat fear mongering.

Trump is a teetotaler, offers his opinions, but has a steadfast belief that Americans can make their own decisions. He's not out there insisting that everyone who uses marijuana will turn into Mayor DeBlasio.

seventysixdon 8 points ago +9 / -1

But keeping it federally illegal IS a federal policy. If he makes it legal then it is out of their hands and the states can then decide whether or not they want to allow it.

7
orangemangood2 7 points ago +11 / -4

That's precisely what legalization would entail. No one would stop individual states from making it illegal if they so choose. What's currently happening, is that even in states where it's legal, they can't use a bank in any way, even to process credit cards or take out a loan, since it's federally illegal.

We definitely need the Federal government to not consider Wacky Tobacky a Schedule 1 substance anymore. That is some Jeff Sessions level refer madness shit.

If Biden doesn’t show, invite Kanye and also have Alex Jones as co-moderator. Will be epic.

LLegendary 6 points ago +6 / -0

This is the kind of thing that needs to happen.

4
Gmama2 4 points ago +5 / -1

And Jo Jorgensen, it will peel away Biden voters.

8
Seanp12 8 points ago +8 / -0

Even then, Biden would then be pressured to do a one-on-one with Rogan, and Biden would have trouble keeping up with that, too, even if he's on just as many drugs as Rogan.

6
sanstheskeleton 6 points ago +7 / -1

Joe said a while ago that people like pocahontas and biden wanted to be on his show but he told them to get lost. Not sure how true that is

6
Flcentipede 6 points ago +6 / -0

Maybe Pocahontas, but no way Biden would do that without all sorts of ground rules Rogan would never accept.

7
TheRealPizzaPope 7 points ago +10 / -3

That would a phenomenal move if that were to happen. I always wanted to have a DJT JRE interview.

The funny thing about Rogan though is that he seems to give everyone the benefit of the doubt except for Trump.

6
Data_bank 6 points ago +7 / -1

I think trump should agree to a joe rogan interview and just do it. He’d get a 10% pop minimum among on the fence people who wouldn’t have voted otherwise. Rogan isn’t a hannity level pede, but he’s aware and has discussed kek, Wikileaks, Seth rich and all of the corruption of the swamp on his podcast. I would say he’s probably the most fair interviewer you can find (he’d actually ask questions about those podesta paintings and crazy shit like that) but he also has a healthy dose of skepticism.

3
Califuckya 3 points ago +4 / -1

Joe has never asked Trump to an interview. So there's nothing to accept unfortunately. Trump would of been on yesterday if Rogan was up for it but I don't think it's the President avoiding Rogan, it's the other way around. Rogan did say he would do the debates, and then backed out, but I don't think he's ever agreed or wanted to do a 1 on 1 with Trump.

It seems that way. After two of these things, I'm shaking my head wondering why the Trump-Pence campaign even agreed to the format of these things.

5
Brucesky420 5 points ago +5 / -0

Basically. But the real rules are the Debate Committee has no power, the two sides can agree to do something without them. But the dems would never agree to anything without it being completely on their terms
