i like the guy's ideology, but he did fold under pressure and plead guilty to what later turned out to be not a crime, based entirely on a threat that his investigators had evidence they did not in fact have.

Not sure that getting faked out twice like that makes for a good resume to lead primary arm of federal law enforcement.

2
apathy_meh 2 points ago +2 / -0

He was protecting his son & it's not something they can use again based on how the judge ruled everybody involved couldn't be charged as a matter of law.

I think his righteous retribution would be a scythe through the corruption.

Why? As POTUS’ private lawyer he can offer advice and there’s more confidentiality.

5
givethismanacoat 5 points ago +5 / -0

As POTUS’s private attorney he was able to fly to the Ukraine and investigate on behalf of his client, as an official WH advisor he couldn’t.

3
bill_in_texas 3 points ago +3 / -0

And since he is a private attorney, he couldn't do anything WITH that information. Barr obviously shit canned it.

4

I've converted two people to vote Trump this year. One guy is gay, made him take the test at www.isidewith.com, and he came out big league for Trump. A buddy of mine who is a stoner, made him take the test too, big league Trump he came up for. My ex gfs father registered and is voting this year for Trump and I'd imagine he is having his wife as well (down side is those two are voting by mail). I'll have a few more people converted by Nov 3rd....this is in Pennsylvania.

I'm still waiting for the full declassification of the whole Russia hoax that President Trump authorized a few days ago.

Gee, I wonder what's taking so long? Could it be that the CIA & FBI are hoping that President Trump loses to voter fraud? 🤔

40
bitterbut_true 40 points ago +41 / -1

You'd think Trump would want him out of there when it comes time to chase down/prosecute the voter frauds. Trump needs a functioning FBI...so he's going to keep an 'enemy' (i.e Wray) in charge? Doesn't add up.

16
SASSandCLASS 16 points ago +16 / -0

Yeah...POTUS complaining wildly one and two years ago and then adding "but I can get involved if I have too". Then saying he wouldn't "at this stage" because he liked people to continue with their work 'independently'. Well he should have got 'involved' imo. He was the President...and the Deep State was running amok. Only he had the power.

I wish so but playing the game of the "Dems are the real racists or white supremacists" does not help the GOP. if white supremacists are not the biggest threat, then there is no need to pursue or falsely accuse them. The DHS is afraid of BLM and ANTIFA, we need more aggression against them. We need the GOP to be bolder and say what is on their mind.

I would add that POTUS also took Pompeo to task in today's interview as well. He indicated that Pompeo has not gotten the State Department to release documents either and he (POTUS) is not very happy with him for that. Let's also remember that Pompeo initially didn't want to fire Marie Yovanovitch because of her involvement in the LGBTQ community at State.

34
peterstrzoked 34 points ago +34 / -0

What a bullshit reason to not fire someone who is shirking at best and flat out seditious at worst

11
Mrsattorney 11 points ago +13 / -2

It was a political decision. Pompeo was afraid of the mob coming after him.

11
peterstrzoked 11 points ago +11 / -0

Yeah, in other words, bullshit.

I never liked Pompeo anyway; first clue that he’s a turd was that the swamp allowed him to be confirmed as DCIA.

The swamp (read: cocaine Mitch) has prevented Trump from putting anyone solid, hopefully with the exception of Ratcliffe, in any of the intelligence community positions.

Probably because the entire SSCI was involved in the Russia Hoax (Burr, Warner, Rubio, etc)

14
DrinkMoreWater 14 points ago +14 / -0

I don’t feel he’s actively against Trump, but is definitely really concerned about optics

Let's not forget Pompeo was Trump's director of the CIA. He knew all about the crimes that happened and did nothing. Then he took over the State Dept. after the disastrous globalist POS Tillerson was ousted where he continued aiding in the coverup.

Trump has been surrounded by enemies from within his administration. His biggest mistake was not firing Comey immediately and then appointing a Special Counsel to investigate ObamaGate, Hillary and the Clinton Foundation.

It's way way past voter fraud, it's total intentional Election Integrity Destruction by the Democracy Party. It's been going on for a few generations now, it's all been planned out, and it's past time we have not only an agency not a FIB, but a Supreme Court to Clean House and restore Election DAY Integrity.

Ranked Choice

Same-Day Registration

No Residency, ID, etc to register

MOTOR VOTER

Mailing multiple registration forms (BY LAW) whenever doing stuff with the gov.

Allowing non-citizens to be active in our electoral and elections processes.

Allowing non-citizens to hold office (violation of the Constitution).

FORCED DISTRICTING (balkinzies and destroys jurisdictions, allows take-over with a small organized minority (or easy fraud))

Not cross-checking records of residency like College Loans with Voter Rolls (aka College kids voting where they don't legally live).

Removal of precincts.

Not maintaining the chain of custody of ballots.

Allowing ballots to be counted before polls close.

Allowing more than "an election day" to vote.

And many other things.

7

Yea this shit is just unbelievable and I am surprised more people aren't more pissed about it.

He's swamp, no doubt about it. I quote from the Independent:

FBI Director Christopher Wray told the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday that the threat of far-right domestic violent extremism has risen to a "national threat priority" for 2020, posing a "steady threat of violence and economic harm" to the US while its underlying drivers — including "perceptions of government or law enforcement overreach, socio-political conditions, racism, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, and reactions to legislative actions" — persist.

Focusing away from the real source of the problem, and even giving in to the "Islamophobia" word.

GET THIS IDIOT WRAY GUY OUT OF POWER NOW.

They are all being exposed from the shadows of where they were hidden.

This, basically Trump had to go through the gauntlet and get stuck with a list of sleazebags who were moved up the chair by the very people who started the Russia hoax. He managed with great effort to retain his position and over time expose a huge list of evil inside players one after the other, almost always with proof and usually in their own words.

Wray's probably already prepared his own resignation on Trump's order at some earlier date. I'm sure he knows he's the Resistance's top guy right now though, so he will do some of what Trump wants, or try to appear like it, in order to keep his own position.

But I also suspect that there's a whole unseen military intelligence aspect to all of this which we will never see, unless we absolutely have to. I can only hope they are even more agitated with the absolute state of the US government than we here are.

Just fire all of these clowns after the election, and recess appoint replacements at the precise moment the Senate is between sessions on January 3rd. The Senate will sue. Let them. Let them argue that they are simultaneously somehow changing from the 116th congress to the 117th congress, without being in recess for even a second, somehow.

I'd love to see that court case, but more importantly, the Executive branch needs to reclaim it's authority to perform needed recess appointments.

Why the fuck is Wray still employed? That is one of the most confusing things about the current administration. Since when does Trump have an issue firing people? Wray is total deep state running interference for the coup investigation and everything else. Who or what is preventing Trump from firing him. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

Because, Trump is the master at handing people role and leaving them alone in a room to hang themselves.

We've seen people do it countless times, and Wray is no different.

He's backed himself into a corner - nobody did it for him. He can either confess to being part of the coup OR somehow convince the Chief Exonerator he's been working diligently to build the most extensive anti corruption case the bureau has ever concocted.

Wray is in that position now. He can't walk the street without being accosted by Patriots who are going to DEMAND he answer for his lack of action/disclosure.

I wouldn't be surprised if an actual FBI agent detail handed him over to the mob.
