Inside the vehicle.
Or inside the vehicle on the sun visors, and flip the visors up only when you have to park at locations where the likelihood of tolerant people smashing your vehicle is elevated. Being visible from the front, more people will see the sticker than a sticker placed on the rear bumper anyway. Consider the number of cars who you drive by in the opposing lane versus the number behind you on any given day. Old campaign trick - stick those stickers up front.
