I think she fails to see what the left has become.
She probably still thinks this is the same left from the 1990s. She probably doesn’t realized the the Democrat party she grew up with (The Party of 90s Bill Clinton) has long since abandoned rationality and modesty and has gone all in on Globalism and Marxism.
She frequently talks about her relationship with Jesus. People can have differences in political opinions and still be a follower of Christ.
I follow her on social media, compared with the rest of Hollywood liberals, she's not even close to their level of insanity.
If you follow Christ, I don't see how you can follow the Left. The two aren't very compatible worldviews.
