I always HATED the feeling of being sore 24/7/365. I was popping pain killers like a cartoon fat kid pops candy (I don't even like candy) just so I could continue running or biking even though my body was screaming at me "PLEASE STOP".
Now in my 30's I'm paying for those consequences. There are some movements I can do anymore because I basically destroyed those joints in my 20's. I said fuck it and stopped. I haven't been to a doctor in over 10 years. Whenever I randomly check my blood pressure, pulse, blood sugar (diabetes runs on both sides of the family so I'm careful with it. Good thing I'm not a sweets person) it's always fine. I don't take any medications for anything. I rarely get sick. I feel perfectly fine all the time.
I have no problem operating any sort of power tools or spending a weekend with a DIY project (although those things feel like once you start, you never fucking end). I wouldn't say 100% because being forced to do certain movements that all that high impact running fucked up my ability to do, (seriously, fuck squatting, i squat twice and I'm done for the day because of the pain, so I avoid it).
I don't know where you got the idea that I'm lying to myself. I can't stand that feeling of being permanently sore which is why I was going through a Costco sized bottle (400 count) of naproxen every month. Other runners and bikers I knew were taking percocets like candy.
I knew if I kept that up, my liver would shut down and I would die before hitting 30. So I stopped. I feel better now. No more permanent sore feeling. No more random pains. No pain killers.

So many people DON’T UNDERSTAND what “Court packing” means. We need to educate!!!
I was discussing court packing on Twitter with a surprisingly polite leftist who said “why are people concerned with court packing? Trump has packed the Supreme Court with conservatives since he took office.”
I explained that we’ve had only 9 Justices since 1869, and there is nothing except respect for the judiciary that has kept it that way. Biden won’t promise that he won’t Court pack, which means he will completely destroy the non-partisan purpose of the Supreme Court.
So can we give up on the idea that the Supreme Court will maintain our Republic if the Presidency and Congress fall to the marxists? Clearly they have a plan to pack the court and flip it when the time comes.
