Then I have to pay a 3.5% state income tax in Bavaria. So I have to pay another $70,000. So I’m now left with $1,037,000. Also Texas and the federal government usually take half my capital gains.
Edit: I just found out my accountant has been stealing from me. I fired him and he's been arrested.

About an hour later I check .win again to see if anyone responded to my comment. I start seeing all the comments that say this can’t be right, the math is wrong, etc. So I emailed my files that my accountant sends over on a regular basis to me to my buddy in finance.
He looks at it for fifteen minutes and says he’s definitely stealing money from you. “You don’t pay $124,000 into Social Security.”
So me and him drive to where I live and report it to the police. The police forwarded it to an ADA, then the ADA got a warrant for his arrest, then the next thing you know he’s confessing to the entire thing.
