Don Cherry was an iconic hockey commentator (kind of in the Charles Barkley role, in between 1st intermission) who was flamboyant, had views on immigration that pissed people off and thought foreign players were soft, liked fighting, and generally was someone people couldn't take their eyes off for decades. Ron Maclean was his opposite as his straight man (although I believe is closer to the left wing cuck side in real life), much like Pence is the perfect chaser to Trump. Anyways Cherry finally got fired a few years ago for complaining that immigrants don't wear poppies on remembrance day. After Trump's election he said America can keep the left wing wackos threatening to move to Canada.
