Stuff like this is the exact opposite of America First policy, but it benefits the tax collectors and real estate agents in the big US cities so it is allowed to persist.

Since remote work from home started catching on the trend seemed to be reversing with people going away from mega cities. This entire shutdown will probably be the catalyst for companies going full remote for jobs that can be done that way. Its better for us. Its less over head for them.
