Rogan is a douche now. He used to be good but had to sell out to keep his casts on the air.

He went mainstream just to make money

He’s always been a fence sitter tbh. He’ll gladly talk moon landing conspiracies or something and then when he has an “expert” guest on its like he’s totally changed.

Haven’t listened in a while, but I’m guessing it’s still entertaining. Bring back Alex Jones and Eddie Bravo!

Yeah, man, the dude is a chameleon and he's just after views and money. Eddie, on the other hand, is hillarious and entertaining.

Joe "CIA, I'm Available" Rogan

He was always For Sale.

The fact he's an influential comedian who signed a 100 million dollar deal is more damning than that.

hondo1 6 points ago +6 / -0

I remember that one. Judging by his revised approach to certain topics, someone took him up on the offer!

Just look into it, bro. All I’m saying...

TBH to get compelling interviews out of your guest you have to be willing to walk their path, at least be on middle ground. His style is not a confrontation, it's about getting content out of the guest.

That being said, post spotify he has had his dick slapped, and is being a little bitch.

stonetears4fears 9 points ago +9 / -0

Agreed on both points. I’ve noticed how he’ll agree with someone in one podcast but in a “okay keep talking but you’re crazy” way and then will throw that person under the bus in another podcast. I haven’t listed to much post-Spotify but it’s different

Grilledpepe 7 points ago +7 / -0

Yeah he has the same opinion of everyone he has on his show. That's pretty much his brand. The goal is to get the true positions of the people he has on

9
xcvi 9 points ago +9 / -0

It's also rude to ask someone to come on and then clown them. He's too polite to do that unless the guest goes off the rails. And even then he usually politely asks questions (Adam Conover humiliating trans discussion).

The Alex Jones one was amazing. I dont care what people say about him he is entertaining as all fuck. Bravo too. Just good conversation and outlandish stories.

Rogan sits on the fence and his conversation style is prob ok for this kind of stuff. He will say... I dont really know about that BUT...

He has sold out to left wing media to keep on the air. We all know if you dont tow the line on left wing social media you get vanished.

He is trying to keep his income

Gabbs1212 20 points ago +25 / -5

To keep on the air? Dude is the biggest, by far, podcaster in the world. Its not even close. Its estimated he gets 20 million downloads a month. BEFORE Spotify. He could self fund his own...everything....before spotify overpaid him.

Thats what people say when they cant let go of the person they liked has now become a shill. I liked Joe years ago but lost all respect after the Bernie shit. Fuck Joe

then why did he cuck out to Spotify and let them outright remove certain episodes?!?

DonJr2024 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yeah and Milo was big at a time (not as big, but big). Once you get banned and shunned by enough people and platforms you're done.

He is trying to keep his income

Which is not worthy of any respect or sympathy. It might be different if he were poor and had to put food on the table. But I hate nothing more than people with FU money that still sell out.

8
FaustyArchaeus 8 points ago +8 / -0

Scott Adams has FU money and stuck by his principles

Rogan cant do that.

Yeah he's a slimy reptilian.

11
DonJr2024 11 points ago +12 / -1

It's almost like he's a massive druggie. Sorry to offend any of you, but people who are tripping balls every day of their life are not noted for being reliable, trustworthy, intelligent or predictable.

I don't know any sane people who claim to be reliable and intelligent while high. I don't think many will be offended.

If you haven’t listened to the episode with Alex “choke me out” Jones and Eddie “look into it” Bravo you just have to set aside like three hours of your day and give it a whirl. Some of the funniest shit ever.

$100 million reasons to push the narrative. Spotify OWNS him now. I wonder if he feels any shame.

10
FlimboFlongins 10 points ago +13 / -3

Yeah, if he fails to uphold the terms of their contract, he may have a "You have to pay us back" clause.

Money like that always comes with strings

I wonder if he feels any shame

❎ doubt

Everyone (myself included) loves to imagine that they would hold steadfast to their values and never sell out like that. Lol fuck no I'd change my opinions for a few hundred mil just think how much hookers and blow that could buy, if you never come down from the bender you never have to feel shame!

(that's Pelosi's motto with her alcoholism and selling her soul to the Devil btw)

I think they use carrot and stick.

Sell out with big contract, or they could have eaten his lunch and banned him where they laughed about his buddy casting couch abusing that girl.

ArdentGrasshopper -4 points ago +2 / -6

Someone offered you 100 mil and you declined.

Alex, those $500 we were talking about...

2
ArdentGrasshopper 2 points ago +3 / -1

Most (if not literally all non-young) people have sold out some idea/value they used to hold. Most of the time, it wasn't even for money, just social pressure.

featherwinglove 42 points ago +44 / -2

Oh my... ...I didn't think that Joe Rogan wanted a visit from Retracto The Correction Alpaca and a place of pride on the Wall of Shame, but now it's suddenly less mysterious as to why he has turned down Donald Trump appearing on his show. No it isn't, but it's taken away all doubt I ever had as to which side he was on: he's an anti-American prick who probably now regrets ever hosting the now pro-Trump Tim Pool.

I don't think he had too. I think someone showed him enough zeroes on a check so he went from selling thousands of plastic pussy cups and snake oil to selling one asshole.

3
Themustardtiger 3 points ago +3 / -0

Plastic pussy cups? Da fuck?

3
Silencemennow 3 points ago +3 / -0

He pushed fleshlights for most of the past decade. Click to his early 2010's podcasts. Fleshlight was his number 1 sponsor. I believe the same dude later paid him to sponsor "alphabrain"

Christ, didn't know about the pocket pussy. New about that nootropic shit.
