Exactly. I'd never heard of Peter Attia until he had him on the podcast and he's a very interesting medical researcher. I think I didn't know about Tim Pool either until he was on the podcast. And I loved the ones he did with Shapiro and the one he did with Crowder. The vast majority I don't give a shit, but every now and then there's a pony hidden in the pile.

I used to listen to one or two a week, now I may listen to one a month.

He used to have all these crazy people on, but I think he's found that fringe speakers get him a lot of flak, without any perceived upshot. What he's missing is the crazy guests are the reason he has so many listeners.

I don't subscribe to his channel any more, otherwise my podcast list would have more listenable hours than there are in a day.

However, i check his guests once a week, and about twice a month i listen to one.

The percentage is worse than that, more like maybe one decent guest every two weeks. But given how many other Youtubes I tune in for, it's still more time than I have to listen while working or playing video games, so I usually save that for times when my favorite radio hosts are on vacation (like Christmas/New Years). I do love that he does a lot of non-PC stuff like having Leah Remini and Ron White on to discuss the scam that is Scientology.
