He's a stand up comedian, decently successful at it
Debatable. I've seen his stand up, I though it was awful.
I've watched his podcast for years - for the guests, not his views or opinions. When he shuts up and listens, great show. When he starts pontificating, he's just a meathead from Boston who's a curdled mess of pot, woo woo mushroom drug bullshit, and sheer ignorance. But I got introduced to some great people via his show, so I just don't pay attention when he hauls his soapbox out. I skip the MMA shows, because I don't watch MMA, and I skip his comic friends mostly. I skipped Bernie, because fuck that noise.
But I'm not following to Spotify. Fuck Spotify. I have issues with that company ANYWAY, along with Pandora, for how they've treated musicians. Not gonna go down that rabbit hole, but trust me, the musicians I know hate Spotify, and say that the majority of musicians who pay attention to their streaming numbers do as well.
