A fellow Pede said something that made sense when BLM first started getting support from the mega corps - these groups may have lost touch with who their actual customers are because conservatives are quiet. And I 100% agree. Even when they "boycott" they just do it individually. Well the internet is helping change that. GOYA is a good example.

This applies to so many things in politics — really just about anything. It could be Ballot Harvesting. Don’t like Ballot Harvesting? Then make sure we Ballot Harvest 100x better than the left. History has shown time and time again that matching and raising twice as hard is the best way to negotiate back to the position you really want.

You may be on top something. Maybe an effective weapon against the NBA is demanding "racial equality and equity" - meaning black people should compromise ~13% of their teams.

IDK, I do think there was opportunism but conservatives are very quiet. And disorganized.
