Wait a minute, I thought I read that they were Republican ballots. Or is that headline twisted? 'voters in heavily Democratic suburbs' doesn't necessarily mean actual democratic voters.
It's the suburbs. Suburban white women are like 60%+ for Biden, while the males are like 60%+ for Trump.
Also, being that they're mail in ballots, they'd be mostly democrat and democrat-leaning independent voters. Except for the fact that NJ has basically cancelled in person voting.
I think I heard it's West Orange NJ? If that's the case, it went 73% for Clinton in 2016:
Surprisingly, there's a few towns/suburbs in NJ that were around 95% Clinton. Very fishy, especially considering the dense urban (minority majority) areas were only 80% or 90% Clinton.
Yeah, I know. I lived most of my life in NJ. It's a democrat stronghold. Yet strangely enough, in my time there, I believe there were more Republican governors than democratic.
That's what happens when the election for Governor falls on a year they don't cheat. Christie was close the first time (2009), got 60% of the vote the second time (2013), but Murphy got 56% in 2017?

Democrats, always with the dirty tricks:

That's probably why Murphy beat her, because the name was tarnished in their minds.
