If anything happens to Candace I am going to lose my FUCKING SHIT

Hijacking top comment to explain.

So I spoke with a friend of mine who has asthma and is a nurse, about this video. The way she explained it was like this:

Using a nebulizer would essentially increase the risk of infecting a clinic due to the vapors that the machine produces. COVID, according to the CDC, is carried via water droplets in vapors. They did not test Candice for COVID so they had no way in knowing she was carrying the virus, so they could not give her the treatment at the clinic without risking the staff and other patients to a potential infection.

The reason the doctor wanted to get Candice to the hospital, is because they have the zero pressure room. It would allow the vapors to be contained during treatment.

Same thing goes for the ambulance. According to the guidelines, if she were to take treatment in the ambulance, they would then need to disinfect the whole thing, along with the staff. Which is why they let her self administer the medicine in her car and had her sign a release.

I get that these guidelines are dumb, but without the full story, we are all getting outraged for what is essentially a he-said / she-said scenario.

People are outraged because people are literally dying from other serious illnesses and diseases thanks to a hoax of a virus because hospitals and clinics aren't helping them because they're so afraid of a virus with 99.99% rate of survival.

And then when those people die, they're chalked up as covid deaths.

Thank you

Staatssicherheit 8 points ago +15 / -7

No, they not afraid of the morality rate but rather being infected and having to close down their business for 2 weeks for quarantine. And of course, if any other patients get infected from them giving Candace a nebulizer treatment, that's a huge lawsuit.

Lawyers. This is a disease of lawyers

1
Staatssicherheit 1 point ago +2 / -1

Partly. Who is more at fault? The prostitute (lawyer) or the john (client)?

8
hillaryprison 8 points ago +8 / -0

All they have to do is go outside then. It's not rocket science.

7
remember1776 7 points ago +7 / -0

Barbers and restaurants on the brink of bankruptcy are doing it. Hospitals should too lol

7
HonkNJhonk 7 points ago +7 / -0

I’d honestly rather go to a tent hospital than one with a grand foyer/atrium inside the front door. Make me feel like the money is being spent wisely and stuff.

1
Staatssicherheit 1 point ago +2 / -1

Are the equipment they have portable to the outside? Like portable oxygen tanks instead of wall mounted oxygen reservoirs. Do they even have the equipment? Was this a OBGYN office?

4
DJ_NeckBrace 4 points ago +4 / -0

deaths of despair...

20
Plaquenil 20 points ago +20 / -0

Why didn't they just put a mask over the end of the nebulizer mouthpiece?

3
JediDwag 3 points ago +3 / -0

lol A big Biden sized mask. That'll stop the COVID dead in it's tracks.

3
DrDT 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yup. A strip of old t shirt is enough to neutralize Covid according to my mayor's mask mandate

7
hillaryprison 7 points ago +7 / -0

Why can't they just freaking take a few steps and walk out side to give her the nebulizer outside then? Time is of the essence and these people sound like morons.

4
thisguy883 4 points ago +4 / -0

Agreed, but she did mention they told her she can take the treatment in the street assuming they meant "open air".

I dont know both sides here, but maybe the doctor chose to have her taken to a hospital because thats probably what he was told to do.

4
MeSewCorny 4 points ago +5 / -1

I too have asthma and this makes sense. As you breath into the nebulizer the vapor steam flows out the other end looking like smoke. That vapor would contain your germs exposed into the air. The air is usually in a small clinical room that would easily allow anyone entering the room to be exposed.

2
Liberty4All 2 points ago +2 / -0

But why haven't asthma docs figured out a way around this - a protocol that allows immediate treatment for asthma attacks?

It's ridiculous that treatment for a potentially life-threatening event is ever denied or denied out of a fear of potential COVID infection, especially now that doctors and clinics have had EIGHT MONTHS to figure something out.

3
MeSewCorny 3 points ago +3 / -0

That's how I feel, like a special room. When you have a respiratory infection coupled with already being asthmatic its torture. Try to imagine trying to breathe with a full grown adult standing on your chest. Your fighting for every breath. Anytime you can actually get a full breath of air is a victory. Try forcing yourself to only take in half of a breath for a few minutes and that's what it's like for us for hours during a bad attack.

3
Gross_Michels_Banana 3 points ago +3 / -0

Does a nebulizer make her breathe faster or exhale more vapor than normal?

Surely by this argument allowing anyone who has not been tested into the clinic at all should be prohibited?

3
CantStumpTheTrump 3 points ago +3 / -0

It vaporizes the medicine into a vapor that you breath in, it doesn't have any pressure.

At some point yes you will be exhaling normally and there will be more as your exhaling the additional vapor.

And people want to go to a single payer system, where the doctor isn't calling the shots in medical situations it's some bureaucrat who is elected to dictate treatments? This is a direct result of that very process.

3
Dirk_Diggler 3 points ago +3 / -0

Is there really a difference anymore?

3
aaafirefly123 3 points ago +3 / -0

It does somewhat, bureaucrats aren’t beholden to voters, so they don’t care if some poor sap dies because they wouldn’t let him get his treatment.

BallsackPaneer 71 points ago +71 / -0

Let me get this straight; A black female indicates she can't breath and a doctor refuses to treat?

Yes, but if she's not voting for Biden then she ain't black--c'mon, man!

SpaceCadet 20 points ago +20 / -0

My mom got sick and tested positive for corona virus, she got very sick and no doctors would see her, she called plenty. She got to the point where her she had to have EMT friends bring her IVS. She found a doctor who sees corona patients. This doctor ran actual tests on my mother, bloodwork, urinalysis and found she had a kidney infection, was septic and in shock. She gave her several rounds of shots (antibiotics, steroids, etc,) cocktail of drugs (HCQ, Zinc etc) and a treatment plans for the coming weeks. Mom was cured in 3 days. She nearly died from a treatable kidney infection because of Covid mandates policy and procedures bull shit. How many have died because of this?

4

1

That's so scary. Thank the lord she was able to be treated! Yes, many probably died because they were refused treatment.

RPNCalculator 14 points ago +15 / -1

If you’re an asthmatic get your doctor to prescribe you a nebulizer and a box of albuterol pre-mixed neb solution in those little ampules. This is literally what the hospital will treat you with but it will cost a lot less money, save time and get you treated quicker, and make sure you aren’t exposed to COVID.

4
Plaquenil 4 points ago +4 / -0

This is correct. A nebulizer probably costs about what one or two ER visits will cost, and many insurance plans will cover some or all its cost.

You can also get other medications for the nebulizer. If steroids are helpful for you, the doctor can prescribe budesonide or similar drugs that you can put in your nebulizer. Note that the steroids do NOT provide instant relief, and albuterol is the thing to use first during an attack, but the steroids like budesonide can help prevent further attacks by reducing inflammation in the lungs.

Prednisone is very effective but the side effects can be awful and it's certainly not something a pregnant woman should take. I'm glad she didn't get any prednisone.

7
Block_Helen 7 points ago +8 / -1

Idk. My dad had to go to the hospital back in July, the ambulance took him with no problems.

13
DisgustedByMisleadia 13 points ago +13 / -0

My interpretation was that the ambulance crew refused to treat her in the ambulance, not refuse to transport her to the hospital.

Spez: I watched enough of the video to confirm it. The clinic and the ambulance wouldn't treat her because of the risk of contaminating the clinic or the ambulance if she had COVID-19.

If I followed her explanation correctly, the ambulance staff gave her the nebulizer she needed and she self-administered it in her own car.

2
Block_Helen 2 points ago +3 / -1

Okay. I'm betting there's more to this, though, than just rona restrictions. And if she was able to give herself the treatment, why the clinic and the ambulance?

5
DisgustedByMisleadia 5 points ago +5 / -0

I edited my comment up after watching most of the video.

She went to the clinic for a nebulizer treatment, because she is pregnant and can't risk a steroid shot (which normally works fine).

If I understand her correctly, the ambulance gave her the nebulizer she needed so she could self-administer it .

2
Block_Helen 2 points ago +3 / -1

Okay, cool, thank you.

Any asthmatic should plan ahead a little better than that, though.

3
DisgustedByMisleadia 3 points ago +3 / -0

I have allergies, but never had asthma. So, I don't know the restrictions on the medications.... is it something you can pre-fill and keep handy, like an epipen?

1
Block_Helen 1 point ago +3 / -2

Yes, most asthmatics I know keep a nebulizer handy. They usually have at least two just in case one runs out.

4
Plaquenil 4 points ago +4 / -0

I bet you're thinking of inhalers.

A nebulizer is an air pump, tube, reservoir for medication, and a mouthpiece to breathe it in. It generates a mist -- almost like a fog -- of medication with water, and you breathe it in. It works better than inhalers and is taken when asthma gets bad.

1
Dialectic 1 point ago +2 / -1

I used to when I was younger for sure. And now that one of my kids struggles with it we keep one. But if asthma is mild you tend to grow out of it. I haven’t needed an inhaler in 20 years or so.

So yeah I’d say it’s believable that she doesn’t have one handy

1
CantStumpTheTrump 1 point ago +1 / -0

If she can get into the ambulance they can treat her in the ambulance.

Describe in any sort of detail how her sitting in the ambulance shedding virus all over it is in anyway different than her sitting in the ambulance shedding virus all over it while being treated.

Also describe how its any different than sitting in the hospital getting the treatment v sitting in the hospital not getting the treatment.

You're there spreading the virus in both situation. Its all horseshit.

1
DisgustedByMisleadia 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yes, I don't think any of it made any sense. But, that's how she recounted the story.

7
Jutts 7 points ago +7 / -0

Fucking insanity in Democrat states. I can’t get a dialysis treatment in Colorado without a Covid test even though I am experiencing no symptoms.

“So...yeah, in order to help you stay alive, we need proof that you don’t have the plandemic even though you’re not experiencing any symptoms.”

These jackasses need to be lined up and exported to some deserted island so they can Karen one another to death.

A cold reading of this and a few things popped up to me, Despite everyones tendancy to see the world thru politically tinted lenses... 1: I have infrequent but severe asthma too and I know to never take 20+ doses a day! She should then be on some type of long term / full day med... This despite her saying she has infrequent asthma??? 2: Primatine Mist Is back on store shelves again after being removed for what 7 years... She could have got that at a local CVS or Walmart... Plus "showers", hot showers pretty much does the same thing as a nebulizer. I mean I get it, I had a similar asthma situation when I was a kid and no one around you feels that same terror... I am glad she got something, but the details here are interesting. I even imagine I might get a couple downvotes here just because I'm not kissing her butt, I know the situation better than most of you...

-1
CantStumpTheTrump -1 points ago +1 / -2

Your shower vaporizes medicine? Don't be so dumb dude.

2
MoldyPurpleSpots 2 points ago +2 / -0

OK "Dude"... Nebulizers create hot mist... What is a shower? Do you have asthma? She couldn't get any medicine! That was the whole point of advising a hot shower AKA hot mist to release and open airways... in the absence of medicines... Do you follow?

Yah I can tell you that you just can't walk into a clinic with respiratory symptoms even life threatening ones. Either go to a hospital ER if they will let you in or be prepared to save yourself. Covid has scared the shit out of everyone. But now it's just an excuse to keep you out. You know they are trying to cull the population. Not by Covid like you think. It's by all the medical conditions that you can't get treated for anymore. Surgeries that are important but not enough to get you in the door for treatment. More people are dying of heart attacks, strokes, cancer, and various infections that most of these things when treated early you have a better chance at recovery. Don't forget all your elderly in the nursing homes. That has been taking a large number of elderly. Covid is just the excuse to get rid of everyone that has health issues. Like Biden say's come on man think about it man.
