Somebody has to convert them. I have a few left of center friends and one that is way the fuck out there. They arent terrible people, most of them have just bought into the media more than anything. Most of them are "hobby friends"(people I bike ride with, other youth coaches, pro wrestling fans) but a few are long time close friends. I drag them all to the right though. Tiny red pills dispensed at random. The recent civil unrest/riots have definitely opened their eyes on 2A support. A few of them had the pleasure of trying to panic buy guns after they saw their neighborhood grocery store burned and looted.
The one dude way out in left field is a guy I grew up with. He's the peace, love, and free shit type of hippie who is honestly too dumb to understand why his ideas are terrible. He doesnt vote, "politicians are all crooks, man". He does mow and shovel sidewalks for my grandparents and the other elderly people on his block at no charge, so he's good in my book.
That and the media complaining about women having to be demure and unaggressive when debating. That is just attempting to excuse her loss. They would not say that if she had won.
Mansplaining only gets trotted out because the sting of being wrong is too unbearable for some. Same thing with "gaslighting." It's a trope you can turn to every time you're incorrect.
Yeah, some of my family members on instagram who normally post stuff on their stories shitting on the God Emperor, especially after the first debate, could only post things related to the fly. Couldn't attack Pence on anything, just the fly on his Silver Mane.
