I can't believe this is finally happening. That shit is the only institutional racism on the books, and it's been frustrating since I was in high school.
God this might have been a good thing knowing these institutions. They would just go around indicting any conservative voter initiative as a Russian interference operation.
You could absolutely argue that welfare requirements are 100% sexist. Women can get free food and housing no problem. Men in need are told to get bent.
if disproportionate impact were used for men like other groups, our entire justice systems would be demolished as sexist discrimination. The charging/conviction rates between men and women is outrageous.
Abortion and child support. An unwilling mother can terminate the child no matter what the father wants; but an unwilling father can be forced to provide for the child until adulthood.
For perspective, a man is more likely to die working construction for a single year to pay child support than a woman is carrying a child to term. So much for the right to your own body.
Can you tweet/email this to the people at the DOJ filing the lawsuit in this original post? It would only make sense to attack this racist bullshit on every front!
I've spoken to other people about this and apparently in the asian-american community they said they've known about this type of discrimination for years and it extends to all sorts of programs like law and medicine as well.
It sure does. Look at Association of American Medical Colleges. They openly share the statistics in their application guide. The guide provides data for applicants and matriculants, including breakdowns by race, sex, age, etc. for every medical school in the US. Any rational analysis of the data shows that literally every school purposely engages in the disqualification of otherwise qualified White/Asian/Jewish candidates in order to fill racial quotas for "underserved populations."
Here's an example from a top-rated US medical school to whet the appetite:
Look down the GPA column on the left, look at the people with sub-3.0 GPAs with 25 or lower MCATs. These people are wholly unqualified to be medical students. They have been accepted based on other criteria. Digging around in the AAMC's Medical School Admissions Requirements (MSAR) will yield the rest of the data to conclude what is really going on.
Med schools are the worst perpetrators of institutionalized racism. It's all in their numbers. Some schools have separate entrance programs only for "minorities" aka non-Asians-and-whites. Yet black med schools don't take any whites or Asians, which is why their avgs are lower than some Caribbean schools.
"Obviously, there’s a lot of affirmative action in the med school racket: the acceptance rate (43%) for Mexican-Americans is virtually the same as for non-Hispanic Whites (44%) even though Mexican Americans average around the 26th percentile of the white distribution in MCATs and college GPA. And 36% of blacks get accepted compared to 44% of whites even though blacks scores and grades are down around the 17th percentile of the white distribution."

I had a friend that worked with me in the tutoring center of my community college who is half Korean and half white. He shared some of what it was like being him and that mix. It was probably the most honest discussions about race I've ever had. He used facts and reason to back up his claims, not victim complex and emotion. He also discussed freely with friends (myself and at least one other guy) about the discrimination against asians each time we had to deal with something like a work "training" session that promoted "inclusion" services. He would always whisper to me or text under the table at me with statements like "inclusion only if you're black. If I asked about asians, she would dodge the question or find a way to say no." Basically any way a person can be discriminated against, asians have been and they've known basically the entire time.
As a white man, I think I legit experienced white privilege getting an interview at an all Asian medical school. My grades were atrocious for even the in state applicants, but last year's photo showed only one white person out of 70 something.
Blew my mind.
Didn't get in tho. Glad I'm outta that commie state anywho.
Don’t understand why you received that many downvotes, here’s one upvote for you. There’s lots of Asians in schools that don’t practice Affirmative Action (I.e. UCs). It’s a fact because Asians value education highly. It’s like the number 1 priority in many households. But sadly the Left is trying to change that.
They like to talk about equity and diversity, but they don’t realize Asian parents and students sacrifice so much money, time, and energy so they can get a better education. My parents were immigrants and growing up we couldn’t afford luxurious things like vacation. But my parents sacrificed their health, sleep, and money so my sister and I could get a better education. Now I’m completing my PhD and she’s a dentist. We worked hard and never complained. Now they’re trying to rob those opportunities away from young Asian and White students just like myself. I will not forgive that and I will keep fighting for these students.
Equity, or equality of outcome (not equality of opportunity) is the most hypocritical, egregious concept that is an insult to true equality.
Amen brother. I think some might've stopped reading at white privilege. I don't believe in White privilege, but white people are not discriminated as harshly as Asians in school admissions.
University of Hawaii John A Burns School of Medicine. Who, btw, made all those interment camps for the Japanese in Hawaii.
The only rare moment of benefit to my skin color (allegedly) was being compared to Asians. Those guys get the shortest end of the short stick for college and medical school.
Liberals are going to find out that true equality will not be kind to them... Every lever is already so tilted in their favor and they still can't get ahead.
I think there is still plenty of wiggle room for those levers to be pulled. Imagine getting a paycheck for just being a minority? Let's say 100k a year for reparations and hardships endured.
You have to define "minority" legally, though. A DNA test will prove that most american blacks are less than 50% african. Do you get a percentage of the 100K then? If you don't want to use a DNA test, then by god, we can ALL identify as black, latino, or native american.
Absolutely this. Fact of the matter is many, if not most Black Americans in this country have some white ancestors and DNA. Yet they somehow claim that they want reparations even though some of their ancestors were possibly complicit in “oppression”? So now the descendants of the “oppressors” get reparations because they have higher melanin content in their skin than those same descendants that do not? This whole thing is ludicrous.
I can't believe this is finally happening. That shit is the only institutional racism on the books, and it's been frustrating since I was in high school.
ummm wut? Isn't the final 2-3 months when most fraud happens?
The swamp runs deep, fren.
It makes more sense when you realize why that was banned...
'A long standing practice" (1980-present). Hm, even longer standing practice would be from 1776-1979. But maybe my math is wrong.
It's how 3rd world countries work to steal elections.
Almost like they want to cover something up, but the DOJ has never done that... right guys....?
Here comes the part where dems actively obstruct any fraud investigations while crying, "voter suppression."
"You're not allowed to look for evidence of voter fraud because we don't have evidence of voter fraud"
God this might have been a good thing knowing these institutions. They would just go around indicting any conservative voter initiative as a Russian interference operation.
Thanks a lot for finding and posting that, it's very encouraging to see.
I only hope the prosecutors make it abundantly clear that they have permission to prosecute now.
The Propublica people aren't too pleased with it :)
Impressive!
You could argue welfare is a form of institutional racism
You could absolutely argue that welfare requirements are 100% sexist. Women can get free food and housing no problem. Men in need are told to get bent.
Came here to say this, it's MASSIVELY sexist, too.
alimony, child support, selective service, ...
if disproportionate impact were used for men like other groups, our entire justice systems would be demolished as sexist discrimination. The charging/conviction rates between men and women is outrageous.

Men are not as valuable as women. Women are a mere commodity in nature...they can make one kid every nine months...men can make many every day.
Current tax structure systematically takes money from white and Asian men and gives it to women and POC at the point of a gun.
Men are considered sacrificial pieces in society.
Think of the poor black children!!
I would, but they were all murdered in the womb.
Not if they have kids

I say this all the time. But its not racist because....free stuff.
Sexism too if you count the all the single mothers.

Wait what the fuck there's black only med schools?
Holy shit if we tried to do that.

Basically replacing proud and patriotic Korean Americans with Chinese expats for those studies?
One side effect is that I’ll never go to a black doctor. It sucks, but what else can you do?

The great irony being these pinko pukes want the CCP's tyranny here.

we all deserve reparations from the Yale grads.
I am a fucking white male. Give me your JD, Bigoteisha!
