To be fair it does say that the sign was illegally posted too close to the road, which may be why they attempted to remove it... But I bet they didnt try to remove any Biden signs too close to the road.

Anyway, moral of the story, if you're going to booby trap your sign make sure it doesn't violate any dumb local ordinances.

Is that really true? Sounds like an excuse. And even if it was the case, wouldn't the procedure be to notify the homeowner instead of just stealing from them?

The city is backing up the worker that tried removing it, so I guess that really is their policy, even though it seems stupid and unreasonable. Simply knocking on their door and asking them to move it would be a more reasonable and mature approach. But... We do live in clown world.

I guess without knowing how close to the road it was, is tough to say. Like, was it sticking out into the road at all?

I know here, if my tree branches grow into the road even a little bit, the county will come by and chop the tree branches down, without notifying me. Technically it's my tree, and is on my property, but the minute it gets too close to the road they can legally do whatever they want.

It was (supposedly) 9ft from the road while the law requires 10ft. Sounds like a leftist city worker knit picking over the placement of Trump signs in orde remove them.

So it's possible he left it in the middle of the road and the city had every right to remove it. It's also possible that it was rightfully on the the guys property and a leftist city worker thought he had free reign to steal signs and lie about it and the city is backing him up because they're BLM cucks. I suspect the latter.
