You had an argument until you forgot the very thread you were in. This "razor blades on the bottom of his sign" trap had literally no chance of hurting anyone accidentally. The only person it could possibly hurt was the person it was intended to: someone removing the sign without his permission. Don't touch people's stuff. This isn't difficult.

Your argument makes sense if you're talking about fucking landmines, but in this specific case the discrimination required was built in to the trap. It could only hurt someone who was doing something they shouldn't have been.

These signs are put out by the road. You know, where burried water and electric lines are, that a utilities worker might be servicing. So a utilities worker may need to move the sign to do their job, which was the first example I gave of someone having legitimate reasons to be on his property.

I'm very sorry your intuition is so underdeveloped that you need every last detail of a hypothetical situation spelled out for you to understand it. Try harder next time!
