The requirements for a successful candidate are pretty steep: 1. a clean record, 2. actual conservative ideals, 3. courage of their convictions, 4. a modicum of charisma. (I remember being very disappointed in the choice of Bob Dole to go against Bill Clinton's second term; Bob had 1, 2, 3 but completely lost to Clinton on 4.) Additionally, the pool of eligible candidates is thoroughly polluted with globalists and degenerates, making them easily controlled by the nefarious individuals behind the scenes.

The mere fact that almost his entire administration has endorsed Joe Biden should be evidence enough of how disgusting his time was.
