It is. But remember we share a common ancestor, we have almost nothing in common with current EU rats. They are like the chimps or at best great apes we also have a common ancestor with. But chimp and apes actually a stronger group that doesn’t require the govt to protect them by taking away weapons, freedom, and choice to allow oligarchs to profit off the little monkeys. Those silly monkeys. I’m not sure which group I’m talking about now.
This sort of comment does nothing to help anyone, it does though massage your ego. Get a passport and travel more. There are a ton of DJT supporters in Europe and this sort of opinion does nothing but alienate them.
I have traveled Italy, France, Greece, and the UK. And this is tongue in cheek and a bit of hyperbolic story telling. I love spending time there, santorini is my favorite place in the world to vacation seconded by Paris. I just don’t agree with the Bill of Goods mentality.
Big whoop. Even if there are Euro Trump supporters, why should Americans care if we hurt their feelings? 1) You don’t vote in our elections, and 2) Our Founding Fathers wanted our novus ordum seclorum to have nothing to do with the Old World
u/AnyDad’s analogy is accurate; we may be descended from a common lineage, but Americans and Europeans diverged long ago. Europe has had a century of continual retardation that many Americans want nothing to do with. If you can’t take someone’s observation on here without getting butthurt, then go Eurofag somewhere else
As I said, GET A PASSPORT, travel, chat to others outside your insular boundaries. When I arrived in New York back in 88 I did so by boat as is traditional. I'm only pointing out that there is far more support for POTUS in the EU than the MSM would begin to publicize and comments such as above don't help anyone even remotely.
Maybe next time don't get involved when the Nationalists rise then? You're either involved or your not. Thankfully Trump seems to be a populist, a nationalist and doesn't want to destabilize counties while using the US military as cannon fodder, the man is a God send.
The US blundered in WW2 by declaring war on Nazi Germany and supporting the USSR both militarily and financially through lend lease; Christ on a bike FDR referred to Stalin as "Uncle Joe" a man that murdered anywhere between 10-40 million people in the gulags, mass starvations and executions in the 20 odd years he was in power.
Patton himself said, we defeated the wrong enemy. I have no love for the Nazis, but compared to the Commie scum, I'll support the nationalists any day. Frankly we're still dealing with the fallout from WW2 & the Cold War given the USSR managed to spread it's evil ideology and the intellectual "elite" are largely Marxist sympathizers, and were so back in the 1930s as well.
Maybe remember that next time, your leadership has been complicit in the current mess, the problems in Europe have as much to do with the USSR as it does with the US's involvement after WW2.
European history is part of our cultural heritage. My ancestors were all from Europe.
