The little round shield (buckler?) would be great for blocking bricks and better than brass knuckles, too. They do have mail but I didn't see a piece that goes over your head and stops below neck and shoulders. You can custom order anything.
I found some, but it looks to all be costume LARP stuff. Even just the gauntlets and mail would be great; add gas mask and helmet with plate.
A sword is probably illegal most places?
Yea, to get the good stuff would probably cost a right pretty penny. An AR with optics and a foregrip should fill in nicely for a long sword though!
