As a mailman, he was famous for not delivering the mail, losing mail, hiding mail, etc. He even does that in this bit here (opening others mail). If your postal carrier was Newman, you'd never expect your mail to be delivered (in or out). They just reprised him in that same role, which basically says "hey, the US Post Office is at best incompetent, and at worst maliciously corrupt."
Seems to fit nicely into our narrative, which happens to be true.

I honestly thought this was a pro-Trump parody before reading the comments here (and that was after reading the comments on YouTube!!) Now, the mystery is whether Wayne Knight pulled a fast one on the Damnocrats and deliberately made a pro-Trump message on Pacronym's dime or whether he is actually this dumb.
