If you study history, you would know to do things in the right order or bad outcomes happen. So for instance, making sure the farmers can and are growing enough food, making sure the arsenals have the capacity to produce enough weapons, that the standing army/navy is in fighting shape, that their is domestic energy indep production, etc. etc.
You don't be like Rumsfeld's "go to war with the army that you got". No, don't drive thin-skin alum amphib vehicles hundreds of miles into the urban areas or desert and wonder why there's high costs or casualties.
And newsflash, most humans are cowards in all points in history. Very few will put their own lives, wealth, reputation, and that of their family too on the line; which is why like the Signers of the Declaration of Indep that we support those like TRUMP whom are not cowards. Yes there's alot of cowards in the swamp, yes it still needs a whole lot more draining, Rome wasn't built in a day, the swamp in D.C. wont be drained in one either.
