This number, during a pandemic, is better than any incumbent President has had going back to Reagan.

% of Americans who say they are better off now than they were 4 years ago

Sept 2020: 56 percent

Dec 2012: 45 percent

Oct 2004: 47 percent

Oct 1992: 38 percent

July 1984: 44 percent

This survey can be conducted without asking the respondent’s political affiliation. Therefore it could be accurate!

This is high considering most people didn't even know they got a tax cut.

I had a retard arguing with me the other day over how the payroll tax deferment is bad.

I guess most people really are that stupid and can't budget unless the government forces them to budget in the way of a tax refund.

You'd be surprised how many people seriously think "I got less back in taxes, therefore I paid more taxes", while completely forgetting "I'm taking home more money every paycheck" and not doing the math and realizing that they're paying a lot less.

Want to end income tax instantly? Deduct 0 from your paycheck, make people write a big check at the end of the year.
