Great correction.

Edit: we need more of this. Too many people get disinformation here by false pedes. The false pedes are the worst pedes.

This wasn’t disinformation, this was misinformation. It’s not so unreasonable for people to draw a line from “trump nominated for Nobel prize” and “the 2020 Nobel prize goes to_____”

People just need to do their own research on the basic shit. But you can’t fix their laziness

VoterIDMatters 14 points ago +14 / -0

Yeah I’m actually surprised. Why are they nominating for 2021? Is the prize for things done the previous year? Like is this dude getting the prize for 2019 now in 2020?

Choppa_Pilot 20 points ago +20 / -0

The deadline for nominating someone for a Nobel Prize is January 31st. The committee uses the year to make their considerations, and then announces the winners sometime late September/early October, with the award ceremony taking place in early December.

The Nobel Prize is turning into an absolute clown show though. The only ones worth paying attention to are for Physics, Chemistry, and Medicine, although with all the LGBTQPRSTUVWXYZ bullshit I expect Medicine will be the next to go full honk.

BoughtByBloomberg2 9 points ago +9 / -0

Not quite. Medicine is still run by a bunch of old men who don't have time for silly nonsense. In a few decades though I'd rather go visit a witch doctor in the Congo than try my luck with an affirmative action surgeon.

Gotcha

MythArcana 2 points ago +2 / -0

Even Liberty Daily is reporting it as a Trump-snub.

3
VinnyMAGA 3 points ago +3 / -0

Dude the news that plays on commercials during the great AM talk show Red Eye reported Trump didn't get the win.

Fake news everywhere cause journalists don't even try anymore.

ARfreedom 3 points ago +3 / -0

Lies and fake news are leftist tactics good pedes NEVER use.

This is the absolute worst.site to get good info from. If its what you use it for then you will never catch up. I get my research ideas here understanding that most people superficially get it at all. But occasionally if you do the work you can find a good lead in here. Mostly I gage how effective the info is in being distributed. It isn't good but i know there are lurkers who have gotten their minds changed here a bit. In the end Trump will win...justice will be served... I do not send people here to learn AS it is an uncontrolled intersection and learning In This environment doesn't really happen. MAGA

Learning can happen anywhere a critical mind crosses information.

Thanks. I had no idea.

As far as we're aware. My understanding is that the Nobel committee doesn't release the list of nominees until 20 or 30 years later. We only know about next year's nominations because the people making them have announced it.

gotcha

Brickapede2 63 points ago +64 / -1

Trump’s noms are for 2021 prize, IIRC.

Obama's Peace Prize was in 2009. Was he nominated in early 2008, before even elected?

Good question, Wikipedia says nominations closed 11 days after he took office; he was nominated with less than 2 weeks in office which would have been Jan or early Feb 2009. The announcement he had won was made in Oct 2009, and he received the award in Dec.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_Nobel_Peace_Prize#Nobel_lecture

Judging from this, it seems Trump’s nomination is just earlier than Obama’s in theit respective nomination years. The main difference is that Trump actually has many accomplishments to merit a nomination, whereas Obama was nominated because of feel-feelz and communist vibes.

Nominated for being half black.

For being a New World Order puppet.

For not having a chimpout on the debate stage.

5
FragrantDude 5 points ago +5 / -0

He was nominated almost immediately upon being elected, which is how I knew it was total bullshit right away. They gave it to him for being black while President.

8
570dbp 8 points ago +8 / -0

Then he went on to instigate the war in Syria and the middle east, created the head-chopping ISIS, bombed 7 countries, meddled in the Ukraine that resulted in Russia taking over Crimea, and then later destroyed Libya.

What a joke on the Nobel peace prize committee. This is what happens when they award people based on race instead of based on merit and accomplishments.

He is a stooge of the globalists and the MIC. They want America to embroil in perennial wars to enrich themselves. All of them: Bush, Clinton, and Obama were taking orders from their globalist masters. Trump is the first president who calls out these pointless wars and wants to end them. They must have hated him for this.

ARfreedom 1 point ago +1 / -0

The nominations for the Prize that was just announced had a deadline of Jan 31 2020, likely Obama was nominated the day of or day after his inauguration.

VetforTrump 1 point ago +1 / -0

Wait till he gets the prize for saving children

12
K-Harbour 12 points ago +12 / -0

Maybe his org will share it with Trump.

Would help his org out 10x over simply accepting the prize outright.

That's cool and all, but the Nobel Peace Prize stopped meaning anything when they gave it to Barry just for being black.

It sounds terrible but I agree. Why is the Gates Foundation spending so much money saving lives of poverty striken Third Worlders? It is reverse-Darwinism and it is doing more harm than good to the human race and Earth to facilitate these people to overpopulate the planet.

not Greta? hahahaha

Why are we giving people lead as food?

2

I guess all the human trafficking Nobels got used up during the Obama admin.

2

It’s insane that that’s their takeaway. Only the Trump connection matters.

Greta got snubbed. I hope at least they gave her a participation trophy.

I don't have a lot of good things to say about SC's one term governor David Beasley.

Remember reading that Hunter Biden worked for the world food program same time ago. Wonder what he did there?

1
CA-Patriot 1 point ago +1 / -0

They should say "Thank You", but we are giving the award to Trump, who truly deserves it.

1
EvanGRogers 1 point ago +1 / -0

I heard about the award being given out on NPR like 5 times, but they never mentioned the glaring Trump connection.

David Beasley. SC Gov from 95-99. Great guy.

fair enough... In this politically charged climate, it would have been difficult to give it to the POTUS. I would expect him (hopefully after re-election) to get it near the end of his second term.
