General Flynn's lawyer is on the short list to replace Wray as FBI head. Could we be on the cusp of Justice my fellow pede?

None of that is happening before election day. We are on the cusp of Coup 2.0.

156
SquiggyMcPepe 156 points ago +157 / -1

Yeah but Trump is on the cusp of four years of no fucks to give presidency. All we have to do is deliver him the house and keep or expand on the senate. With no optics to worry about for eventual reelection he can do pretty much what he pleases. That's how clinton and bush and obama did it after all. Song and dance first term then balls out second.

93
VinnyMAGA 93 points ago +93 / -0

Yes Trump 2.0 is really where the no fucks given presidency starts. I hope we haven't seen nuffin yet!

7
Aoikaze2000 7 points ago +7 / -0

I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt as Barr can't really move against the deep state prior to the election - or it might cost Trump the election and the AG is out of a job. I imagine nothing would be more frustrating than seeing all the hard work down the tubes because you got overeager.

6
itsokaytobereggie 6 points ago +6 / -0

This is my impression. Also, Barr has said that there wouldn’t be any major action (beyond Clinesmith’s indictment) before the election. And when we’re talking about one of the biggest scandals in American history, you’re going to want your case as ironclad as possible. Even relatively simple cases (personal injury, for example) can take a long time to build. A case the size of that which Barr and Durham have been working on is a massive undertaking, and they’ve got the entire establishment, left and right, working against them.

^ This so fucking much. Every objective after election is aimed towards re-election. During the second term he has nothing to lose and can REALLY start throwing his weight around. Leftists already think he's HitlerStalinVader9000. The media has nothing nice to say about him. Democrats blew their wad on impeachment that did jack shit. What can they do to him? What can they do to stump him? Liberals thought he was offensive before? Lol they better grease up them buttholes cuz the Train Train's a-comin!

25
Simple_Doot 25 points ago +25 / -0

I get it. Already voted Republican straight down the ballot. I try to remain optimistic but I get weary after days and days of nothing but bad news.

10
VaPnut 10 points ago +10 / -0

Get out and enjoy life. Have fun. That is the weapon you use against this enemy. They want you to despair and lose faith. The worse thing a leftist fears is happiness. You have done your duty soldier! Now go out and enjoy life!

3
SemperFree 3 points ago +5 / -2

Have fun?

Wearing a mask every where and being constantly reminded of our loss of Freedoms is not fun.

9
VaPnut 9 points ago +10 / -1

You have to turn it into a game. Make some Karen remind you every single time that you must wear a mask. Then argue (with a shit eating grin on your face) that medically you cannot! Play with their heads. I do this time after time. In the lobby of the Dr.s office (No mask) I had to go through a "screening" where they ask you about 10 stupid questions and take your temperature. No matter how long the line is I always make them ask the questions at least twice, sometimes asking them "what does that mean?" just to fuck with them. Then when they pull the trigger on the digital thermometer pointed at my head, I scream and cry out that it burned the crap out of me! All the mask wearing jennies behind me become perturbed and irritated and I fucking love it. Whatever happens, pede, never ever let them know you are not happy.

5 out of 8 vulnerable Senate seats are Republican-held right now. Need to hold onto at least 4 or we'll be into mass obstructionism territory again.

The big one is Arizona. Martha McSally is really behind the Democrat candidate.

6
SemperFree 6 points ago +6 / -0

Maybe thr GOP shouldn't field shit candidates

5
IntrepidBurger 5 points ago +5 / -0

Well fortunately some of the line up is pretty great. John James in Michigan is stellar, and he probably would have won in 2016 had they not cheated. He's ahead in the polls right now.

Here in Montana, Daines needs to keep his seat. Bullock is doing everything he can to take it. Not only are there alot of dumb old montanans with bullock signs, there is a very real possibility they will steal it with fraudulent votes from Bozeman and Missoula.

3
UpTrump 3 points ago +3 / -0

You're telling me MONTANA is a swing state now? wtf?????

1
left_reddit_for_this 1 point ago +1 / -0

Surprisingly montana has always had funky politics. There's alot of home grown montanans that consider themselves blue dog democrats, and there are a ton of retarded transplants because of the colleges and air force base in great falls. Its a mixed bag. Unfortunately, I personally watched them steal elections in the 2018 midterms with absentee ballots that came in after the election. We need daines to keep his seat or we could be in real trouble imo. Bullock is a terrible govenor and would be even worse with more national power in the senate. His entire campaign is based on tds!

Where did you read that?

11

Sidney Powell would burn the FBI to the ground and rebuild it. She would be an incredible choice. Joe diGenova would also be a good pick.

6

16
Notablitheringidiot 16 points ago +16 / -0

Honestly. I don’t think so.

I mean what is a lawyer anyway? Someone who understands law. I don’t think a piece of paper from a law school is necessary.

5
DonJr2032 5 points ago +7 / -2

AG is not in the Constitution. I'm not sure what requirements there are for the position, but it's my opinion that you shouldn't appoint someone that's not a lawyer.

5
zipodk 5 points ago +5 / -0

Even California had an attorney general that at least went to the 59th ranked law school

But for USA AG, the past 10 before Sessions came from Columbia, Harvard or Yale

Which is unsurprising since the job description includes "Furnish advice and opinions, formal and informal, on legal matters", so giving legal advice you'd need to be a lawyer

1
STEVE_HUFFMANS_BULL 1 point ago +1 / -0

The requirements for “Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for” (Article II, Section 2) are as follows:

  1. They were nominated by POTUS

That’s literally it. Trump can (and should) fire most of his cabinet, nominate whoever he wants, and put random Q followers in those positions until the Senate approves his picks

Happy to see this.

I have been giving $50/month to Judicial Watch for almost five years I think. I know that much of their work falls upon deaf ears sometimes, but at least we have them out there uncovering the corruption and reporting on it.

Why is JW needed? Because as the Congress becomes more and more dysfunctional, tyrants will rely more on the Judiciary (judges) to declare this law or that law unconstitutional. This reliance on the judiciary to solve basic disputes is, itself, a sign that our Republic is perhaps beginning Oswald Spengler’s death spiral.

20
FLYWHEEL_PRIME 20 points ago +20 / -0

The tipping point was reached long ago back in the 80s or 90s, everything after that has just been throwing water out of a sinking ship. You've got to step back and look at the true FUNDAMENTALS of the republic to realize the whole thing is unsustainable. Just as matter of time before one side truly takes over either by force or litigious actions.

6
TentElephant 6 points ago +6 / -0

Some might say this is hyperbolic, but this election is without a doubt the most important election in the history of the USA. In 2016 we the people spoke and we spoke loudly. Now in 2020 is when we double down!

Corruption and the Nanny government was never what our forefathers wanted, but it is what the left wants you to believe is what's best for you and I.

7
Deplora 7 points ago +10 / -3

Fitton was not appointed to the Trump administration. the District of Columbia Commission on Judicial Disabilities and Tenure, that he was appointed to, is in no way part of the "Trump Administration". It has an oversight function for DC local courts only, not any federal courts located in DC. By statute (federal, because of DC not being a state), whoever is POTUS can appoint one person to the 7-member commission, when the last POTUS-appointed member's term expires or that position becomes vacant by resignation. https://cjdt.dc.gov/page/commission-membership

The appointment made by POTUS is for 5 years (all the other appointments are for 6 years), so whoever a POTUS appoints can choose to remain on the Commission past the end of that POTUS' current term (in this case, past Trump's next term, assuming he's re-elected), so is in no way tied to the appointing POTUS' administration.

This is an unpaid position, with little significance or power. People need to stop getting all excited about it without understanding what it is. When this was first announced, there were threads all over TD.win with people gleefully claiming that Judge Emmet Sullivan will now be removed from the bench by Fitton. Sullivan is a federal judge. Fitton will have one vote on a 7-member commission that has no authority whatsoever over any federal judge.

2
flashersenpai 2 points ago +2 / -0

Do you know the name of anyone on the panel? You do now. And so do millions of other people. If something is going wrong, Fitton will know about it and he'll make sure his people do too.

No point in crying in the corner when someone who's actually worth two shits is assigned instead of some swamp dwellers.

7
Cifu 7 points ago +8 / -1

What I want to belive.

Trump presidency phase / term 1: put the wheels in motion. Let the dems expose their weapons (muller, impeachment, covid, muh legacy).

Phase / term 2: pull the trigger. Arrest the many of the career politicians that have been undercover as law enforcement agents. Give the spineless AG and their henchmen to do their job without fear of retaliation by the liberal left.

While I prefer our law enforcement to do their jobs without fearing that a Biden admin would in fact bring that all to a stop, it's not realistic.

Fact is we live in a very corrupt world. Ppl like Fitton are going to play a key role in bringing justice in GEOTUS's second term. The hope is that our favorite presidents second term is straight up deus vault. I can't imagine it being anyother way.

That said we need to set our expectations. As much as I would love to see killary, rapist bill, or Obama arrested, thats simply not going to happen. It doesn't need to happen.
