edit: this hearing is over! I missed part of it so I will have to wait for a proper summary from someone else. edit: here's a summary
Kyle's possible black eye looked similar to the last stream, to me that suggests it's a shadow not an injury.
Edit: discussion on twitter, articles already being published about it

Edit:
Kyle had some supporters come out for him today :)
If you're seeing bad discussion of Kyle out there and want to participate, get out there and share the correct information!
For something to share, here's a video documentary made by a left-leaning person who initially thought Kyle was "another crazed mass shooter," but he changed his mind after looking at the evidence: youtube (age restricted), bitchute mirror, rumble mirror
(Kyle's defamation lawyer Lin Wood appreciated this documentary enough to link it on their fightback website and do an interesting and unifying interview with the creator.)
Let's fix this situation, then!
AMD > Intel lol
Just some friendly banter, but you’re absolutely correct. PC Master race and some good lessons are learned by building PCs.
yeah I dont understand it, people doing things on tablets/phones take 100x longer to do simple tasks.
1000X this.
However, trying to convince the public that a microprocessor device should be used as a tool is fucking impossible. People want a smartphone that tells them what to do, what to like and how to spend their time and they develop a love-level intimacy with it that solidifies that one-way relationship. Instead of the computer being the input device, the person is the input device. Even modern coding language is based around supporting information flow to the user. Using a modern computing device in order to BUILD tools is becoming less and less popular by the day.
I disagree. Modern languages seem to be geared much more towards reacting to information from cloud servers or from outside APIs so they can feed info to people in different ways and with fancy displays. Using them to build code that initiates functions and gives the user a large amount of function ability that the user can initiate themselves is much more difficult natively.
I refuse to let go of my Elitebook workstation laptop. I love this thing. Is there anything I should be doing with it besides Linux?
What’s a good version of Linux to replace Win 10 on a touch screen i5 laptop?
Yep, Mint or Ubuntu. Either are going to be hassle free to set up. If you're a hacker or just enjoy pain, you can always go further and further down the rabbit hole of complete control and ownership of your system in exchange for more and more work.
Lol I had the same experience when I was first hacking my kernel, except my solution was to literally hang my laptop out my window when it was like 10 degrees outside to keep it from melting when it was compiling the kernel. Good times!
Can the average dumbass get most programs to run on Mint?
Thanks for taking the time man. The “problem programs” that I had in mind are for loading codeplugs in to ham radios. Sounds like I’ll be able to do that in Wine or have a sporting chance at least. Other than that my use cases for my PC are 100% normie.
Personally, I like Unbuntu. My wife has virtually no computer skills. She did her entire master's thesis using our desktop that runs Ubuntu. Once she got used to the file directories (very similar to Windows) and saving Libre Office documents in Microsoft format, she was set.
If you're a beginner go with Ubuntu. If you're ready for something a little more configurable and on a rolling release check out Manjaro.
I personally use Manjaro Gnome edition. It's pretty user friendly, but Ubuntu will be easier to learn because there's way more documentation, forum posts etc when you research things.
manjaro xfce here :D
Manjaro my friend <3
DRM (the Digital Millennium Copyright Act) and Copyright laws (aka 130+ years before anyone can use or improve upon someone else's idea) in particular are screwed up. Half of our copyright laws are agreements we entered into with foreign countries which serve only to hamper us as we follow them to the letter while they ignore them entirely. The other half are there to help corporations keep us from owning any of the things we buy (that is, enter into a license agreement to lease their digital and physical media....) from them. For real, we don't own any of the media we buy. It's all just a long term license so that corporation can argue that they still get to control what you do with your purchases in your own home. ...And it's being allowed to happen.
For the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, the government worked together with businesses to make it actually illegal to bypass anything that counts as "DRM." Then they widened the scope of DRM to include almost anything and now it's used almost like a form of copyright.
Here's a particularly ridiculous example of how companies are abusing the digital rights management part. Keurig's little coffee cups count as DRM.
Did you know the physical cartridge format of Nintendo games is "DRM" and illegal to break through or make other 3rd party cartridges that don't go through Nintendo?
Blu-Ray discs have DRM encryptions so that we can't legally make copies, even when we would normally be allowed to under copyright law. It's just another way corporations are depriving us of our rights.
Apple's Lightning connector form factor is DRM, which is why you can only find cheap Chinese bootlegs. They prevent any reputable manufactures from making safe, high quality cables (without paying them a shit ton in licensing fees) and then claim that it's some sort of Apple magic that lets them produce their own "sleek shiny, non exploding cables." There would be tons of cheaper, and likely better, alternatives (crowdsourcing can come up with some ingenious things when money is on the line) if it weren't for Apple's 2 trillion dollars market cap and stable of lawyers glaring menacingly, ready to rip your life to shreds.
Copyright has Mickey Mouse backing it with his mafia, but DMCA is the one we could easily change since once Trump wins again we'll begin taking back our rights one by one. Getting rid of the DMCA along the way would enhance American creativity for generations and open the door for us to talk about walking back the ridiculously overreaching and anti-American copyright laws.
Would be a shame if someone abolished the patent office.
Zoom also appeared out of thin air and was created only months before the Corona.
The owner is a Chinese American.
Large parts of the company is based in China.
Zoom had been around years before COVID. I had used it.
Yeah but the IPO was less than a year before it was mandated use through corona.
I'm calling bullshit and I don't trust that any of the data is handled securely.
Last I checked "end to end" encryption in zoom isn't actual end-to-end, its to their servers. Which means, anyone who compromises their servers has access, and Zoom itself has total unfiltered access.
This is incorrect. Zoom has been around for years.
The rest of your comment is correct.
There was a bit of a scandal earlier this year when it was discovered that some us-based calls were directed through servers in China.
Zoom is also owned by a Chinese country which means ties to the CCP. And that's a damn good point about being required to use a private company to participate in the judicial system.
Just got on as they ended. What happened?
They set an extradition hearing date of October 30th.
This process seems really slow for a legally armed minor clearly protecting himself from a child molester.
EVERYONE please pray for Kyle.
Kek. Just give the kid his AR back. He seems to know how to take care of himself...
Following Robert Barnes & Viva Frei's livestreams & it doesn't seem jail is the best place. Bad people can get to him a lot easier in jail. No bail because of the way bail in Illinois works with the charges in WI. Lin Wood not giving the family control of the money & essentially of who they hire is hampering his defense. This along with Wood's & Pierce's personal problems aren't serving Kyle well.
I have been following this as well, and I'm not sure what to make of it.
I think any misconduct on the part of Wood and Pierce needs to be clearly documented and confirmed (e.g. the claim that they are essentially holding the money hostage I have not seen actually proven). And hopefully documented in a way that keeps Kyle's best interests protected in the process.
It really isn't about this yet, this is strictly for extradition.
Although, the alleged crimes play an obvious part in the extradition this is still strictly extradition.
"The process is the punishment" "Justice delayed is justice denied" "Right to a speed trial" "Right to atty/client privldg" etc etc. Very little of our justice system works as it's supposed to, this is the fault of the 3rd Branch of Gov. Make the Supreme Court Great Again! Make American Courts American Law Again!
Because Wood isn't a criminal defense attorney and scared away most of the local qualified CDAs. Wood didn't have ANYTHING to file for the first extradition hearing. Why?
Wood hasn't given the raised money (2 MILLION) to the family. Why?
Note: I didn't watch today's hearing. This is the relevant part of Lin Wood's tweet:
ALL of the 5 criminal defense lawyers representing Kyle Rittenhouse are laser-focused on achieving justice for him.
https://twitter.com/LLinWood/status/1314636975991779330
Amazing, right before the election. Excuse to riot in Wisconsin?
"Oh no, we can't count the votes, all the precincts burnt down! ahhh man, that sucks!" - CNN
What happens if he gets extradited? What happens if he doesn't? Seems like either way it'll be good for him to have a security team. Although maybe people will be distracted with election stuff.
We should get our plans in order for being out there to support him in a positive way on Oct 30. I think it should be non-partisan or bi-partisan or whatever you call it, law and order and a fair trial is something everyone wants (lefties want the police when it helps them too, and there are a lot of left-leaning people who are not antifa. they would want to support Kyle too and should feel welcome to do so.)
Politcal Prisoner
poor guy - https://imgur.com/t7RkX9g.jpg
The fuck?! Why does he need to wear a mask? This is all the bullshit.
To dehumanize
Case is set for October 30th. 9:30am.
Time zone!!
Central. Illinois time.
Wow, that happened fast. It was like 5 minutes max. I missed part of it when the video player stuttered on my end. I guess I'll have to wait for the summary the news outlets put out, unless someone else got a summary.
Next time we (I) should be ready to take notes and should probably post this 10-20m earlier next time.
Free Kyle Rittenhouse!!
be sure not to record the proceedings. you know, because the law and stuff.
Missed it. Summary?

Two things:
People are talking about sending letters and care packages. That's fine and good, but please, PLEASE don't be an idiot. Writing to Kyle about how "We're behind you all the way in the war on commies, gotta shoot those #@$&@#'s in the @!#[email protected]#ing head!" -- will not help Kyle. Everything you write is subject to review by the people trying to lock him up. Just be encouraging, understated rather than overstated, and even maybe vague: "You're in the right, buddy, you will be free soon" type of stuff is perfect. There are some fire eaters around here who would not be doing Kyle favors by pushing their rhetoric into his extremely scrutinized and non private life.
This is more of a question - I am sure that Lin Wood knows what he's doing, but what is the idea behind fighting extradition? Even if Kyle wins, does he really want that hanging over his head? Would that mean he would be forced to stay in Illinois his whole life to avoid a murder prosecution? Just stuff to think about.
Why would Wood know what he's doing? He's not a criminal defense attorney. He totally failed on the FIRST extradition hearing and had to get a 10 day extension.
If he cares about Kyle, he'd give Kyle's parents the millions raised instead of holding it hostage so he can work on the case and fundraise. Let the family pick the lawyer. If Wood is so good, they'll hire him anyway.
Wood isn't representing him. It's Pierce/Bainbridge.
Supposedly some high powered criminal defense lawyers are involved. Hopefully Lin Wood is letting them drive.
Just saw an ad on YouTube about Trump not dismissing right wing groups.
Showed the Nazis and the KKK blah blah blah.
Then they posted Kyle. Those motherfuckers.
I will never vote Democrat again. That poor kid was attacked and he defended himself after retreating.
Is there any way you can get proof of this, that they were still running this ad even today? Kyle is also pursuing defamation claims against the democrats. Every proof of this may be valuable to his defamation case.
For some reason I had thought they said they would stop running this ad with Kyle in it claiming he was a bad person.
I saw the same ad - it shows kyle for less than a second but the thought crossed my mind the lawyers need to sue these people.
I'm trying to find the information about it now. I had thought I heard that he had agreed to retract it but I can't find anything that states that quickly. There is a team taking this on as a defamation suit though, and they did put out a letter demanding a retraction.
https://townhall.com/tipsheet/juliorosas/2020/09/30/kyle-rittenhouses-lawyers-demands-biden-campaign-retract-their-claim-he-is-a-whit-n2577216
Lin Wood, the lead attorney, has a twitter account at @llinwood, the team might appreciate evidence if people can archive and send it to them. I think they might list other ways to contact them on their twitter page since I know not everyone has twitter.
Unfortunately it was a few days ago and I can't even recall where/when/what video might have brought it up. I certainly didn't think to record the ad..
but like many of you guys here - I know who Kyle is and immediately recognized the .5 second clip of him in his green shirt. (likely from one of the interview vids pre-shooting)
I’ll try to record it if I see it again. It was horrible.
NOT AVAILABLE IN MY COUNTRY. Guess that could be a good thing. I dunno.
Fuck this judge.
I didn't catch the whole stream, does it seem like the judge is doing something wrong?
I only caught the tail end, but I stayed to watch a bunch of other hearings for other people. The judge seemed very fair in most cases, and not accusatory, or politically leaning in any way. Additionally, he agreed to the delay of extradition, giving a court date of Oct 30. Seems like the judge heard Rittenhouse's attorney's argument that this is political and that a fair trial should take place when politics are subdued.
Interesting, thanks. Perhaps Oct 30 is a better date than shortly after the election.
Unless Kyle has gained a ton of weight, I don't think this is his livestream.
someone should send him some good calisthenics books. good for the body, good for the mind.
They use the same stream for everyone who's being heard in that specific courtroom, I think.
It just ended
Secrecy is repugnant in a free and open society.
"Illinois Supreme Court Rules prohibit the recording of court proceedings."
WTF kind of stupid anti-freedom rule is that?
FREE KYLE!
That may be illegal, fyi.
yeah... is it illegal if I just link it?
Someone recorded part of the last hearing too and left it up. Maybe these people are press and obtained special permission to record it? I had expected twitter to take these things down but last I checked they didn't, so I don't quite know what to make of it.
Ha. You’re probably good.
Not much they can do about it unless you're dumb and upload it somewhere with an account linked to your name.
your twitter link is pure cancer
we are the chemo, pedes, get out there and jam the misinformation!
<3<3 MAGA2020
That second link os some of the most unhinged leftist nonsense ive heard in a while. Whoa boy.
Everyone cast your vote for Trump to be in solidarity with Kyle.
This 1000x. It seems like this is probably the most important thing we can do that will help him.
Illinois has the best recording laws for protecting crooked courts, cops and left wing political prosecutions.
Are the recording laws for IL unusually restrictive?
Oh yeah
I didn't realize the laws differed much from state to state. In what way are they more restrictive in IL?
Welcome to TDW! Good job posting this pede, Kyle is a hero!
I hope someone will edit out the multiple minute chunks of dead time in that documentary. I got sick of waiting five minutes at a time for one image or slide of text.
It looks like it's just a screen capture of someone playing and pausing the actual video. Anyone have the actual documentary video?
Are you thinking of a specific one? This one (mirrors: 1, 2) that fightback made?
By "actual" I mean the video that is being played in the screen captured video. You can see the VLC control panel at the bottom of the screen.
I just want to see the raw video without somone pausing it for minutes at a time while recording their screen.
Did I link the wrong thing? It should be a compilation and commentary on video footage from a lot of different sources, some of which are credited in the video description.
I recognize some of the footage, so if you tell me a timestamp from this video I might have a link for the raw footage at that point.
Edit:
Here are sources for some of the footage, but certainly not all. I don't know where it all came from.
I bet that at least one of those Studs outside the courthouse posts here!
Thank you fren!
These faggots better not try to railroad Kyle.
Did Wood give Kyle's family the money yet?
don't think the situation there has changed. if it's not good, we need more awareness/documentation there, or something.
You want to create a white supremacist who's young enough when he gets out of prison to cause serious damage, just do this to him and put him in prison for exercising his 2A rights Dems.
