Attack from the left? Why?

Joe is trying to run to the middle while appearing to the radical progressive base he's down with all their ideas. He won't commit to the GND, won't say whether he would raise taxes or pack the courts. Get him to commit to the left and that's going to turn off a lot of people, but he won't do it because he knows it's unpopular with the majority of people.

If you're like me and have been getting those annoying texts "Hey this is Xir from some bullshit Soros funded organization, will you support Joe Biden?", have a little fun and waste their time.

First I like to bait them in with a naive or undecided phrase like "I don't know, why should I?" or "I really like Bernie, so I'm going to write him in."

They'll reply back with some claptrap about how Biden is for racial equality, solutions for a crisis like Covid, help for families, affordable college, healthcare, etc. It's all bullshit but play along. "Does this appeal to you?"

(I'd note, this is probably all copypasta or possibly bots, but it's interesting to see what they think is important to the average american)

You can go a number of different ways, "Yeah but Biden hasn't been for most of that" or "I'm worried Joe doesn't have the experience needed to pass a progressive agenda"

Then once you really get the hooks in, attack them from the left.

My personal favorites are how Joe isn't for "Completely free college tuition", single payer healthcare system (particularly how they settled for the ACA when they could have jammed through anything else), and recently how Joe won't commit to packing the court or support the GND. We know he is for it, and we want him to say it.

From there you can continue to string them along, see if they break down on their own support of Joe, or even hit him on the #metoo by bringing up Tara Reade and all the kid sniffing that turns you off from voting for him.

How you close is completely up to you. Give them a MAGA 2020, hit em with the Jo Jorgenson irrelevant vote, or do a "I think I'm still going to write in Bernie".
