Right. Only either it takes Biden to go along with it, or it takes 2/3rds of both houses. Is it just a smear on Trump, or does the lunacy run deeper?

I'd believe that if I thought for a moment that BIden would at all resist being asked to step down. The guy is already a walking corpse... he doesn't want to be president, he wants to curl up in a little ball in his basement and rock away the demons he keeps seeing.

Pelosi is suggesting a dismantling of the republic. She wants a not elected super political class to have control over the presidency. Like a central committee a la Soviet Russia and ccp. This group is beyond the Supreme Court. This is an attack on separation of powers and a direct dismantling of the republic.

She wants a not elected super political class to have control...

Yep. Just like the European Union, where there is a self-appointed group that sits above the window-dressing European Parliament, and makes the laws.

This congressional commission couldn't be that without amending the constitution. Ultimately, it would take 2/3rds of both houses and the Vice President to boot an unwilling president. That could never be a "self-appointed" group without a lot further break down of our republic.

I agree that it is supposed to work that way, which serves to protect us all.

And hopefully, it will continue to work that way.

The concern, of course, is all the "progressive" judges appointed by Trump's predecessors -- judges who think that the Constitution means whatever they want it to mean.

Fingers crossed that Trump continues to appoint Constitutional judges, that the people continue to wake up, and that we properly deal with the people who are currently threatening the country.

In other words, you are right, and I'm rooting for things to stay that way.

I think we're giving her too much credit. It's just simply a political smear job on the President as a last minute desperation move right before another humiliating loss before the world.

Not before the election.

There are no blood cells left for cancer cells to destroy. There is only plastic.
