I have to remove signs for my jobs as well. I treat them all equally... Not on your own property I'm pulling it, real estate, politcal, or business. I've been called everything this year by both sides. Found grease and bard wire. Never razor blades. It is law that it must be on your property. The trump sign in california should of stayed, this sign would of been pulled from what I read. We keep them and owners are free to collect them and I'm more then happy to show them where the property line is, and they are free to survey their property boundaries and prove me wrong. Most of the time I leave signs close to the line, or small like this one unless it's blatantly obvious, I get complaints or it's a hazard (like large 4x8 signs with wood, t-post etc). In certain cases I've made contact when possible, i.e. in front a business with several other signs where the business owner has given permission and didn't know property line.

Time to up the ante with explosive Nitrogen Tri-iodide crystals (iodine crystals in ammonia I believe) painted onto the sign

Or a nice, clear white oleaner and ricin + dmso contact poison paint

There's this giant hogweed that apparently can send people to the hospital, you could pressurize a spray that explodes by placing a sprinkler head under the sign, they pull it and it trips the sprayer and sprays them with hogweed. Now they won't do anything but they'll go back out into the sun and it's the sun that will cause the skin to dissolve
