I’m sorry I didn’t believe it sooner. I’m sorry I thought conservatives were crazy or old fashioned. I’m sorry for my arrogance.

Don't apologize. I was the same way. I fucking voted for Bernie (in the primaries) and Hillary (in the general) in 2016. I'm ashamed of it as well.

Glad you woke up too! People like us have the experience and the tools necessary to redpill others, so go do it!

Being in college and abandoning religion is a hell of a drug. Jordan Peterson woke me up.

Same, probably because I was a Rush baby. But I don't fault them, I love hearing about converts! That means its possible

Im just a paranoid white male who noticed things that didnt logically make sense i suppose, didnt have any politics pushed at me. I learned in my teens that my parents were definitely conservative, but wanted me to figure things out on my own.

Grew up in Austin TX too, so maybe being told all through elementary-high i was a bad whitey subconsciously woke me up? 👀

I think the random race issues that sprouted when Obama was in the primaries woke me up, since all through the 90s and early 00s i never had issues with races

Next thing i know there's race this, race that, race there, race here. Slowly redpilled myself because i like to ask questions

Then in 2015/16 i took a lion pill and learned a shit ton with trumps announcement. Watched some Alex Jones, Rush, tucker started breaking out, some scary documentaries about banking cartels and revisionist history etc

Been a helluva journey but yeah i always welcome newbies

I started listening to Alex Jones videos in like 2006-2007 and reading other conspiracy stuff about the new world order and I saw the signs every where and I thought it was hopeless until Trump came on the stage and said he was going to lock Hillary up, then I watched him destroy the Republicans and I've been on this ride ever sense.

Same, lol. Didn't know why either but just knew they were bad eggs. Made a funny pic in imaging class in HS of Hillary with sith eyes and Obama with Darth Maul facepaint.

My whole life I could never except the "your choices are between giant douche or a turd sandwich and thats just how it always is" and now thanks to Trump, that feeling has finally been vindicated. 😤

i was the same. had no care about politics at all... and then i became curious as to why everyone seemed to have fallen in love with obama in 2008. quickly i noticed the media bias. the coverage of obama and syria for me cemented in stone that the msm is a tool of the democrats.

A week old dog turd could have been elected president after Dubya.

McCain lost in 2008.

But a week old dog turd wasnt elected.

A muslim was. I will NEVER forget who voted for a Muslim after "dubya" no matter how much they try to "make amends"

I did worse. I voted for Bill Clinton in 1992. First time I ever voted too. I am responsible for a lot of this disaster, though I suspect HW Bush was behind a lot of this.

FWIW, I haven't voted for a single Democrat since :-).

It was Ross Perot who woke me up. I would have voted for Bill if it wasn't for him.

I'd like to ask the greater TD community this, but I'll start here with you:

HW Bush was a bit before my time. I remember the first Gulf War in the news but I was just a little kid at the time. How did he fare as president at the time, and now in retrospect?

I was 19 at the end of Bush's presidency. My thoughts ...

He was a lame follow-up to Reagan :-) .

Do you have a specific question about him as a president?

I didn't really care for him. I voted for Clinton (I used to think I should be shot for that, but I kind of suspect Bush wanted to lose to his other son from Arkansas ... I was never a leftist/marxist ... More moderate ... But the first three months of Clinton pretty much sealed the deal for me when it comes to supporting Democrats ... I'll never do that again).

His New World Order comment was a bit scary.

With the USSR finished, everyone felt like we were heading towards world peace. Man were we fucking wrong. Bush didn't seem to have any interest in extending olive branches to post-communist, former USSR countries. I would have thought there would have been more movement on our end to build bridges with the Russian people ... Nothing like that happened.

He handled Iraq brilliantly ... Right up until the point where he should have finished Hussein off. If Hussein was as vile as we were told, you'd think it would have made sense to get rid of him. As the years marched on, it seems like he was left there on purpose. Call it military contracts, CIA related stuff, etc.

California was overrun with illegal immigrants ... So many that the state flipped to D in 1992. That would be like seeing two Texases flip to D. Bush did absolutely nothing to hold Democrats accountable to the terms laid out after Reagan's 1986 amnesty ... We were supposed to have a secure border as a result of that amnesty.

Finally, something seemed to change in 1989 ... I recall seeing a lot of commercials about racism. I never thought less about anyone over skin color. I only had one black friend in my life at the time. There's a lot more I recall seeing that, in retrospect, looks like the seeds of division were being sowed.

If I were to place a bet when the whole globalist movement officially put the pedal to the metal, I'd put my money on the start of the HW Bush presidency.

I've got you all beat for stupid election choices. I voted for Carter in 1980. First and only time I voted D.

History is just a very long, convoluted story about who is to be master. That's all.

All the pablum we were fed about magic documents, democracy, and whatever else is all horseshit.

The only thing that survives is that which is defended and protected and fought for.

SHHHH.

We don't want liberals and leftistd to understand this.

Government exists to waste their time. That's why we created it.

Many of us grew up in commie schools watching commie TV. IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT

You see through their lies and see their evil now, that's what matters
