The township should have contacted the homeowner and told her to move her signs back. Instead, they went on to her property to take the sign without her knowledge. The township does not cut the grass on that road so there was no reason for them to remove it other than being assholes. What stupid kind of obscure ordinance is that anyway “33 ft from the center of the road”. Are we supposed to stand in the center of the road while someone takes a tape measure to ensure compliance? Would not put it past a TDS suffering neighbor to sabotage the sign and call the township about the placement and watch the a Sheriffs Dept descend on the Trump supporter.
