Stephen Miller (the guy from The Spectator) says the only way to save the debates is to not even pretend to be neutral. Instead, have 2 moderators. Have Sean Hannity ask Sleepy Joe questions and have Rachel Maddow ask GEOTUS questions.
Not a good idea. Not because of the voters, but from the fact that they can level it to a place they have overwhelming majority support and can get at least most if not all the questions from those that support Biden or hate Trump.

Why not just let the candidates ask eachother questions or even just ask themselves questions so we can see what they think is important?
Taking random calls from actual voters would be awesome. They would answer to constituents directly, completely off the cuff.
