Just shut up already, appreciate what you've got.
My dog died in August, but hey guess what, that means I still had her for her last 8 months. So I'll forever appreciate 2020 for that.

I'm sorry to hear about your dog, and it's been a tough year for some. For me... 2020 has been the best year for to date. Got a new job, moved to Charleston South Carolina (A beautiful City) from SLC, Utah and couldn't be happier. I finally have that feeling of home. Started seeing a beautiful young lady (she's very conservative) and I love my apartment.
I'm not try to brag, but just thought y'all would like something good to hear.
That sounds excellent! This is the kind of stuff I like to hear.
I know when I look back on 2020 several years from now, another thing I'll miss is having Donald Trump as president.
Also, my 80 yr old grandmother may not be around in several years, either. So that's another thing I appreciate about this year.
I also worked very hard to get here. 2015 I fell from a ladder and shattered my feet so badly I was in a wheelchair for almost a year. Had to shut down my business. Unemployed for 2 years because of recovering. Went back to school back in 2017. Earned an associates degree which propelled me into the industry I work in now, and the city I live in. Life is beautiful.
That sounds like a hard couple of years. I'm glad things are going great now!
Dont worry kids. It'll be a great year when Trump wins re-election.
Hey everyone, thanks for tuning in to the latest lets play/gaming related news. 2020 has been awful year for everyone what with the pandemic and injustice.

With that lets proceed with me mentally torturing myself play [insert newest popular game]
I've never understood how so many people will just watch some random dude play generic video games for hours.
I say that as someone who was fairly fond of games in my youth as well. But this particular fad never appealed to me.
The only time I watched someone play video games was because this one Swiss dude had a funny accent that made it entertaining, or because I wanted to get a quick glance through a video game (and for the latter, I would try to find videos where there's no talking and no silly corner frame with the pleb staring blankly holding their controller.)
I mostly watch because it gives me a better gauge towards how some games are like FrostPunk vs reviews
Awesome, great to hear your mom is rejuvenated!
Sorry to hear about your Gracie. RIP
The reason is that generation has lived in the greatest time in history. They are SPOILED.
I frequently think about how grateful I am to experience this period of history. There's really been no other time like this one.
It's easy for kids to take things like the internet, television, space travel for granted when they never think back on just how inconceivable these things were for most of human history, even up to a century ago.
It only sucks for them because the left is in a death knell.
Grab some popcorn fellas, the show has only started.
P.S. Not having a dog sucks. I miss mine.
Yeah, I can't wait to see what happens over the next few weeks, especially after the election.
I actually had a little bit of a rough year in 2016 with friendship betrayals and a bad bout with the flu. And Trump getting elected was one of the bright points for me. Although in hindsight, I would also say having my dog that year is a bright point as well.
Sorry to hear about your dog. It definitely leaves a void when they're gone.
