I am an independent. Mine was the BLM riots, anti-white hate campaign, and discovery of Critical Race Theory. It happened pretty much all at once for me.
I was watching all the bernie speeches in 2016, even saw the bird land on his podium live. Anyway, bernie had just won the primary against hillary, and both cnn and MSNBC were showing trump's empty podium for 40 minutes waiting for his acceptance speech DURING Bernie's acceptance speech. Now, at this point I asked myself if the board was tilted away from Bernie, it clearly can be tilted away from other candidates like ted cruz as well. So I realized all my news was junk food, and had watched everything live, cspan hearings or live direct speeches for a month. If you watch something unfiltered for 50 minutes and see EVERYONE do a canned 10 second blurb hackjob, you realize how little effort the press puts in to "news". Extremely unprofessional, they have a conclusion and work backwards.
