Oh no, no, no.

The whole progressive establishment is racist beyond belief. Literally millions of people 100% believe that black people have no agency and are too weak and stupid to make it without handouts and reparations.

When you pity someone, you automatically make that person pitiful and put yourself in a position of superiority. Pity is not respect. Like it's another universe away from respect.

So these progressives may think that their feelings of sanctimonious superiority are virtuous because they come from a place of love and compassion, but that is because they are fucking ignorant and haven't taken the time to think about things. Sanctimonious superiority is sanctimonious superiority regardless of whether it sprouts from love or hate. Love and compassion can be pathological and more ruinous than the worst hate, and you'd have to be raised on a diet of Hollywood shit to forget about that

It's feminine pity, showing caring by being nice and giving people things. Right now we suffer from too little fatherly pity, which cares just as deeply for your suffering but deals with it by finding the most efficient solution to the problem, which is usually you sucking it up and working. People need both, but we are really starved for fatherliness and patriarchy right now.
