Construction is an area where you can start with no skills and advance quickly if you work hard and want it. My drywall guy charges $100/hour and I gladly pay it. I'm a database analyst and I don't make that much per hour.

If there are people who truly can't be taught academically as claimed, these people should be taught trades beginning no later than 9th grade. Many people in the founding era only had an 8th grade education.
