I AM A POLL CHALLENGER I DO NO RECOMMEND THIS. COVID HAS MADE IT TO WHERE THEY HAVE CUT THE VOTING BOOTHS IN HALF AND THE LOCATIONS ARE THE SAME. That's is in my area at least. In my small town the line has been out to the street from open to close EVERY DAY. If you can vote in person early PLEASE GO VOTE IN PERSON. We challengers signed up for the Trump campaign to try and keep this election as legitimate as possible.

Will there be an issue of running out of time, or is it just that people will have to wait in line for a few hours?

Cause, honestly, after all the crap Trump has been through, standing in line should be the literal least we could possibly do to pay him back.

If you're already waiting in line by the time the polls should close, you are 100% entitled to cast your vote, no NOT walk away.

Then heck man, what shenanigans could they do? Even if they use their black magic and conjure a rainstorm, even if there’s one polling place in the whole state, wait in line and cast your ballot for GEOTUS

If people can camp out in front of an apple store for 3 days, we can wait in line.

Most Trump voters don't attend his rallies. We have to keep that in mind. Being a Trump voter, loving Trump, and being a Trump superfan are all different things.

The shenanigans: the Misleadia calls the result of your state based on exit polls and early returns, and people still standing in line go home.

In 2000, this was the reason that Florida was so close. The most conservative part of the state (Pensacola) is in the Central timezone. When the Florida polls closed in the Eastern timezone, the Misleadia called the race, and potential Bush voters still standing in line went home.

As a fellow pede pointed out, I'm worried they'll have a thermometer and tell everyone wearing red or anything patriotic that they have a high temperature and need to get out of line. Take a thermometer with you.

Wouldn’t risk it. If early voting is available, avail yourself

voting early makes it easier for liberals to tamper with the voting machines. i am voting on nov 3 even if i have to stand for 5 hours

Oh, for sure! I early voted yesterday.

Polls close at 7pm every day (EDIT: 7 pm here in NM and that is during EARLY voting, these times change state to state and on election day), but, if you are in line you will be allowed to vote even if it's a mile long. That will turn people away if they have to wait until midnight to vote. They are also doing same day registration in my state and I don't know how or if that will work after the 7pm, it also throws a huge wrench in the wait time (up to 30 minutes for the system to receive the new voter) in this time they let a voter in, then check the system for the new voter, then let a voter in, then check again... It really slows it down.

That's why you register ASAP, then if you're voting on Election Day, get in line as early as you can.

I agree, but not everyone can do this. I just want everyone to vote in person and be confident their vote counts. If they have a choice to early vote or absentee vote, please early vote. If you want to vote on election day you can do that too, just know it will probably be rediculous and not a quick process.

Will there be an issue of running out of time, or is it just that people will have to wait in line for a few hours?

The issue is streets being blocked with Biden rallies so that you can't get through, and the polling places themselves being blocked with even more chaotic and violent Biden rallies so that you can't get in

I keep an eye on the livestreams every night - a lot of it is suddenly quieting down. I'm convinced that's because the Biden Rally-goers are being moved into place and getting their equipment and instructions.

Yep. If they know that Republicans want to vote in person and don't trust the mail, then clearly their strategy is going to be: Jam up the polling places on election day so that a lot of people get frustrated and leave, plus other shenanigans

I understand the OP's theory and tactics but in the end, the most important thing is to just get the ballot cast in-person and know that it's counted.

This is why I'm voting early.

In my small town the line has been out to the street every day from open to close EVERY DAY.

How are your elections such a shitshow? I keep reading about "if you're waiting in line when the voting closes, you have a right to cast your vote, do not go home".

In Germany we have 76% turnout, no early voting, everyone votes on election day (except those that request an absentee ballot themselves, like in the USA), but we never have to wait in line. You show up, cast your vote and go home.

In the USA you only got 55% turnout, what's wrong with your election system that you have to wait in line for hours?!

I'm not sure how your voting works in Germany, but at least in NM the person must be Identified (they don't have to produce a physical ID which is rediculous IMO) then they must sign, the ballot has to be printed, then they have to explain to each person the process of filling out the bubbles completely, only make one selection for a candidate in a given race, there are also laws that are being voted on. It's not just "vote of the president" our ballot in NM is 2 pages long and all dependant on district, could be more, could be less. Also most people who vote are older, birth year in the 40's is most common. Filling out the paper ballot is not an issue, but putting it in the machine and not letting go.

We have to bring the voting notification thing they mailed (everyone is automatically registered to vote, reliably, and gets a notification in the mail weeks in advance) and our national ID card, then they hand you the ballot, you make two choices (once for someone running from your district, once for a federal percentage/list), you fold it up, throw it in the box and that's it.

People here know how to vote... well at least they should, it's explained frequently outside of elections, taught in schools etc. They just gotta know the difference between the local and federal choice (first vote, second vote).

Why does your ballot have to be printed? Aren't they pre-printed long before election day? Everyone's getting the same ballot, no?

I'm also confused by you having to put the ballot into a machine... how does that work? Here there is no digital counting, everyone puts their ballot in a box, and then at the end of the day they're all counted. During the counting, any citizen who wishes can be present in the room to watch and make sure there is no election fraud going on, that all ballots are correctly counted and that the correct numbers are being reported to the higher levels.

Everything used to be hand counted, now they print the ballot on site, and you run the ballot through the machine, if you make a mistake it will give you an error, and automatically void the ballot, the official will print them a new ballot and they can cast it again. Most people don't even know who or what is on the ballot. You have to go into the county clerk's office to ask for your districts SAMPLE ballot to even see who is running for what, otherwise most people just go by what propoganda they receive in the mail or what ads they see on TV. My local Republican office also has sample ballots. Not all the candidates have a (D) or (R) even, like the votes on which judges to retain, there is no party affiliation attached to them. That's why it's best to get a sample ballot to research before you vote, or just leave it blank if you don't know. Can't just go by a name, I thought Crystal Diamond was a hippy Democrat, then I researched her and she is a conservative, 4th generation of a rancher family, endorsed by multiple police and sheriff departments, 2A supporter and she is a HOTTY.
