They just don't have it in their DNA to accept fault in anything that they do-- I/we fucked up is simply not in their NPC programming.

Agreed.

I personally don't hold entire groups of people responsible for what individuals in their political camp do (e.g. I don't hold Bernie voters responsible for the guy that shot up the congressional baseball game).

The sad irony is, not only will they hold us responsible for any/all actions of individual Trump supporters, but they'll somehow also blame us when it's a deranged Trump-hating leftist. Fuck these people.

What you said is a good illustration of why the communist-leftists have had an ongoing advantage over us.

Their forces are like terrorists that use a village as cover. They might even be the whole village. They'll attack us, and when we catch a few of them, the rest of the village says those were just extremists. They're not us.

But we'll continue to see more attacks from the same village, and because of our principles, we'll refrain from just shutting down the whole thing because we "don't judge groups based on individuals".

However, at the same time, the terrorist village has no problem screaming about evil systemic oppression if one of their own goes down because one of us screwed up.

I don't have any solutions to this power asymmetry, but awareness of the problem is a good first step.

I completely agree with your analysis. I have no idea how to overcome this problem. It kills me that corporate media and corporate social media are so left- aligned. I just don't understand why this is happening.
