I cannot fathom how any politician can get away with saying something like this by the people. The only way that can actually happen is if they are being propped up by a cabal that lies for him.

Bud he’s damned if he does damned if he doesn’t. Leftists don’t abide the constitution. To them they are fighting a holy war, so the ends justify the means.

Someone pointed out his support comes from 1) radicals who want to pack the court and 2) unaware voters who will just see his name on election day.

"Sorry, I can't tell you whether I'm going to destroy our system of government by effectively ending the separation of powers until after you have voted for me."

Or actually:

"Sorry, I can't I won't tell you whether I'm going to destroy our system of government by effectively ending the separation of powers until after you dumb Democrats have voted for me. You don't deserve to know, fuck you."

Democrats: This is fine.

If Trump said this the media would be non-stop talking about it for weeks, they would have "experts" every day detailing how this is destroying our Democracy. If Biden says it the media looks the other way and puts up some random Orange Man Bad nonsense.
