So I was visiting Atlanta a few days ago, and spent most of my time in the lower-income neighborhoods just south of downtown. I noticed that something I always joked about but never expected to be as true as I now realize.
Most of the houses I saw were in okay to poor condition, the vast majority of the people living there were black.
A few select houses in those historic neighborhoods were significantly bigger and in better condition, all the owners I saw were white. It looked like a clear case of early stage gentrification.
Now onto the interesting part: Nearly all of the nice white households had BLM and Biden Harris signs. Not ONE SINGLE black household had a sign.
Possible conclusions:
-
These signs are basically "please don't loot my house, I'm on your side" virtue signals from the cowardly white liberals that are actively gentrifying their neighborhood. They don't really like/respect black people, it's just all for appearance.
-
Most black people are not interested in Joe Biden and don't support the BLM movement outside of the generic platitude of its namesake.
I saw 1 BLM mask and 1 BLM shirt the entire time, both worn by whites. It was almost comical seeing a soyboy 50 year old white dude in a BLM shirt wading through a crowd of homeless black people in downtown.
