Build back better is a terminology in the disaster risk reduction and management discipline. Covid is a disaster thus the increased usage of the term especially by governments and policy papers, etc. Biden's campaign decision to use the term was lousy. Used in a political campaign it sounds general, uninventive, lazy, and out of place.
