Can someone tell me why Obama won the peace prize? I mean, I know it was because he's black, but what was the official excuse given for awarding him this unearned honor?
I don't know when Obama's nomination was submitted, but the nominations closed 10 days after he was inaugurated, before he even had a chance to do anything to deserve it.
The Nobel committee later said they were literally trying to influence him to do something to earn it. But, they BTFO'ed themselves, when he turned out to be as big a warmonger as any recent president.
