Disagree, in cases of clear and undisputed guilt (dna, video etc) it is completely workable. Housing over 800 inmates on death row at 70 grand a year each on the other hand, is not.
There have been way too many wrongful convictions for me to support the death penalty.

Death penalty isn't workable in our current system of justice. No accountability and flaws from the bottom up.
