I think she’s overreacting but if you live in your moms house you have to abide by your moms rules

This. Even if I went over to someone’s home and they wanted me to wear a mask, I would. I wouldn’t go back, but if you’re in someone else’s home, you abide by their wishes.

Most the people I know did not wear masks and social distance, they did not get sick. The only person I personally know that officially got Covid was very strict about wearing masks and social distancing. That’s about all the proof I need.

TBH, wearing masks in a confined environment is really the only time it makes sense.

You get sick every year? I’ve had the flu a few times in 51 years and I’ve never had the flu shot.

Me too. I never get the flu shot. The last time I had a flu-like illness was 1997.

I’ve had it twice. That I can remember. A little z-pack + opium based cough syrup and I was over it in a few days.

A baseball bat to the TV cures covid! 😊

I saw someone earlier say just wait until this winter and it is very cold and you can see all the steam coming around peoples masks as they breathe outside. It will show how little masks are in keeping this sub-micron sized particle inside the mask. It does, however, make people think they are actually making a difference in what they do.

My 88 year old, overweight mother got COVID and recovered with one day of oxygen.

It's a serious flu, but no ebola. Tell your wife to man up.

I can assure you as a respiratory therapist, masks, cloth or surgical (non n95) are wholly ineffective at stopping particles many millions of times larger than viruses especially outside of the clinical environment.
