Long past time that an additive offense be added to crimes involving politics. Just like there are hate crime laws that magnify offenses if they are based on racial bias, there should also be a similar law concerning political crime. Obviously we have terrorism laws, and maybe we need to have those enforced.
Example: Antifa attacks someone for wearing a Trump hat - that Antifa gets charged with assault with an additional “terrorism charge” because the attack was politically motivated, that doubles the potential penalty for the assault charge. What was once 1-3 years now becomes 4-6 years. Now consider murdering someone for political reason: we are talking throw away the key level shit.
