This happened only a few miles from my house and this patriot was associated with people I hang out with. It hits close to home but only makes me wants to crush these fucking commies even more. It was literally organized by “the Denver communists”

I remember a video report awhile back about how Denver had an uptick in homeless after the weed became legal.

"Uptick?"

Bruh that shit was like an invasion. Brought several properties value down all over the Denver-Metro area.

5
MuadDon 5 points ago +7 / -2

Malt liquor is still a lot cheaper with less hoops to jump through. I don’t blame the homeless, Denver’s climate is great outside of a handful of months in the winter.

i'm also maga and smoke weed every day. i don't mind these other people here who have a problem with the weed though, i'm just glad they share my views on the most important things. though some of the posters here need to realize amazon is a foul company that doesn't fit within the framework of free market capitalism.

2

I have lived in Colorado almost all my life. I voted to legalize weed. There is no doubt that since weed has been legalized there has been a huge influx in homeless and vagrants, up and down the front range at least.

CBD flower.

Buy a pound of perfectly ground "shake" for like $80.

Cooking, smoking or vaping.

Weeds expensive. Make weed cheap again!

1
Mr_Dr_Jullian_Dunbar 1 point ago +1 / -0

It's not "weed" pede, you can order canibidol flower (aka CBD) though the mail direct from the farm since GEOTUS passed the hemp farm bill last year.

No high.

My good friend takes it as sublingual oil and the lady pede says it helps her monkey brain. Her old man takes it for back pain.

Even good for dogs - especially when you have to crate them. CBD doggo biscuits.

Lol everything GEOTUS does (hemp farm bill) helps everyone. I drop redpills of the appropriateness during on the fence friends.

0
Dontthreadonme2020 0 points ago +1 / -1

Umm... CBD is a joke. IMO. I’ll just smoke it Pal. Trump needs to legalize it completely. Fake news made it illegal in the first place.

Lots of people went there because of legalization, it was known as the green rush. Plenty of patriots are using cbd/thc for numerous reasons, it's medicine. Texas pede here. I went to Denver area twice. Once with a scout troop doing some epic rock climbing 28 years ago, and once to Pikes Peak when I was 11. It hurts my heart to think of such a beautiful piece of God's country stained by the influx of commies. Colorado is quintessential America. It has Plains, Hills, Mountains, city, suburb, rural... every aspect of America.

It pains me to see it turn so blue.

5
Dictator_Bob 5 points ago +8 / -3

It pains me to see blue turn commie red.

8
LurkNoMore 8 points ago +9 / -1

Most of us view red as conservative and blue as liberal (commie). It is a dichotomy that makes it difficult to express whether we are red or blue, so I tend to stick to the terms, liberal and conservative.

8
zooty 8 points ago +8 / -0

Note that this was something the news orgs made a thing in the 2000 elections so as to avoid Gore being painted as a "Red". Before that, the colors were assigned on an ad-hoc basis.

5
LurkNoMore 5 points ago +5 / -0

Yeah, TBH, I haven't really followed the change. I grew up (in the 80's) thinking red was evil. I do think that maybe that's why I know so many "yellow dog Democrats" that are, essentially conservative, but they haven't yet realized that the Dems have gone full commie.

4
TruthyBrat 4 points ago +4 / -0

This. And Red was the color of Communism going back to the mid-1800s.

3
520kj 3 points ago +3 / -0

Same. As a kid in the 80s/90s, "Better dead than red!" was a common saying.

5
Dictator_Bob 5 points ago +5 / -0

Like, not my point, man.

Aside from that, "liberal" dies with Jimmy Carter. Neocons have merged with "progressive" corporatists forming a new corporate neoliberal front that uses political violence to subvert our system.

The old order is gone.

5
LurkNoMore 5 points ago +5 / -0

I understand. I upvoted you. I was just giving my $.02 on your choice of words. I agree that the old order is gone, both for dems and reps. The old order of democrats (in the model of JFK) died long ago and socialists have taken over. In the same regard, the republican party has been taken over by us pedes. We aren't the neocons, warmongers, corporate pacifist cucks that the republicans have been in yester-to-recent years.

I just wish we could figure out the semantics. I truly wish we could form a new party based on President Trump's policies. If I'm not mistaken, I bet every R and 1/3 of the D's would switch to his party.

5
Dictator_Bob 5 points ago +5 / -0

With the "Lincoln Project" being glamorized by once-liberals en masse it's fairly simple. As Rand Paul put it: Hillary Clinton is a neocon. Everything we have seen since her epic failure in 2016 has been the product of the people who surround her. They refused to concede power and have tripled down on their bet:

The merging of the corporate system (Google, Amazon, etc.), civic infrastructure ("universal" healthcare), the war machine (Libya, Syria, Iraq, etc.), the "Deep State" (swamp), and the political process (rigged voting, corporate media, social media).

This is Italian Fascism, 100%.

I call them neoliberals as that is easier to get across. We call their foot soldiers commies. In the end, they may think they believe in some egalitarian utopian ideal or even basic redistribution. Except they are backed by extreme corporatists that have no intention of giving up their aristocracy.

5
LurkNoMore 5 points ago +5 / -0

I come to this site for midnight semantic, philosophic, and theological discussions and I am never disappointed!

Yup, I used to go to Colorado every year. It was almost like an upscale Texas vibe. It was western without the hillbilly vibe you might get in other western places...

We still go to Denver no every once in a while as I have family there, but hell, downtown Denver is straight out of California now. It's not even recognizable barely. Liberal leftist central... and they're continuing to ruin their state. The cancer of liberalism keeps ruining everything it touches.

I'm 40. I smoked weed back in my teens. I guarantee it is why I have such acute memory loss now. My father is a thrice convicted felon... all drug related. I will NEVER support legalization. I've seen too many lives destroyed. HPA? Yeah buddy! Let's roll with some suppressor legislation! Still waiting on approval for a form 4!

5
NADSAQ 5 points ago +9 / -4

Well that’s a terrible argument against a wholly unconstitutional absolute dumpster fire failure policy of prohibition that we have now with the War on Drugs. Guess what, your dad could buy narcotics in prison if he wanted. How do you plan on making it more illegal than that?

7
LurkNoMore 7 points ago +8 / -1

I won't down vote or argue against you as I can see both sides of this coin. I've seen people helped by pot and destroyed by pot. I've watched as people moved from pot to meth and destroyed their lives. I've seen people quit multiple harmful prescription drugs after using the medicinal value of pot. I see it like a gun. It is a tool... very valuable in the right hands, an implement of death in the wrong hands.

3
NADSAQ 3 points ago +4 / -1

Obviously drugs can be dangerous like handling guns or driving a car but until we can have a real discussion about the inevitability of their use despite any punishment you can conjure, we’ll keep doubling down on failed policy and preventable death.

5
LurkNoMore 5 points ago +5 / -0

I won't argue with you. The "war on drugs" was a failed policy. I wish I could say that we'd be in a better place if we had just legalized everything. I don't actually fault the drugs. Our own gov't orgs (CIA) used the crack epidemic to fund their pet projects and (as a veteran of several deployments to Afghanistan) the opioid epidemic that has blossomed during our time in the desert... I see the damage our own agencies are willing to inflict on us.

In that light, I would rather see a sober populace.

4
deleted 4 points ago +4 / -0
3
LurkNoMore 3 points ago +4 / -1

I rarely click on links without any context, but I did yours. It describes me perfectly. I used pot regularly from age 12-15, when I quit, moved out and began my life on my own.

That is a very good article. I wish more people would look and see what it can do to young minds. I'm 40 now and have difficulty with short-term memory. I have three degrees and speak 3 languages: English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese, so it isn't a lack of education.

I measured a store fixture for a customer today and I forgot the measurement in the 15 seconds it took for me to text him. I had to re-measure.

When news stations OUTSIDE of the state start raving about where, how and when you can get your newly legal weed, something is wrong.

11
Dictator_Bob 11 points ago +12 / -1

I'm from San Diego. Every one of your states has ruined our city with moonbat transplants. That's not including the mental patient/homeless dumping coming out of the eastern states, which I think deserves the death penalty. But I digress.

There is a bigger problem here with lifestyle and values that needs to be addressed. We must shift the culture in a pro-American direction. We do not all need to be like one another, or to like one another, or agree on everything. But we must all love our country and by proxy each other. Or we do not have a country.

I blame the corporate system and the media complex it owns. Very comfortable discussing a complete reformat of that system and a shedding of the people in control of it.

Californians moving to Colorado has been a known and documented phenomenon for decades, like Texas. California has a huge population, bigger than Canada, and a lot of it is radicalized compared to the rest of the country because of the complete institutional takeover there. The mass exodus from it as it's become a one-party state is having real effects.

2
deleted 2 points ago +5 / -3
4
gamexa 4 points ago +5 / -1

Let me restate my thesis slower and dumberer for you since apparently we're back on Reddit now:

California has the largest population of any state (as well as the largest economic and cultural influence).

Therefore, California has a disproportionately large effect on other states.

Therefore, it is not unexpected nor unreasonable that there is more whining about California than other states.

9
neehl 9 points ago +9 / -0

I live about 20ish minutes north of Denver. I love Colorado. Grew up in the springs and came back to Colorado as soon as I was done with school. The decline of Colorado is killing me-I guess I understand how long time Californian’s feel.

2
Viking 2 points ago +3 / -1

Man I’m south of Denver and I love Colorado (just moved here last year) but it’s gonna suck if I have to move. I see so many fucking commiefornia license plates and it sucks. Need to legalize weed so those fucks will stay in their hellhole and stop coming here.

Anywhere that isn’t Denver and Boulder should always be a good place to live no?

3
neehl 3 points ago +3 / -0

My parents still live in the springs. It used to be solidly red but based on info from my parents and younger brother who is a senior in high school, it’s turning a lot more purple. That being said, the Air Force base is there so as long as that branch of military doesn’t get too degraded, it should still be able to avoid turning all blue. I live in a city outside of boulder that is light red but will be interesting to see how it goes this election. I live in a new build neighborhood with lots of people from other long time blue states as my neighbors. The problem is they keep building suburbs in the country which is making the country areas turn less and less red. I don’t know where else to go. I would cross the border and totally buy land in Wyoming but man that wind is rough. Colorado’s beautiful. I don’t want to lose it to the left but I’m almost positive hickenlooper or however you spell his name is going to win this election and we’ll see the decline that much faster.

3
Viking 3 points ago +3 / -0

Sucks to hear honestly. Guess I’ll enjoy my time here while I can and then dip when it gets bad.

Feels like we’re losing states to live in. Soon Texas will go too.

3
neehl 3 points ago +3 / -0

I’m hoping with another four years of Trump, people here will wake up to the corruption. Some of the people in my neighborhood are definitely democratic Karen’s and I 100% can’t wait to see that anger turn to the party that’s abused their vote in the next four years. Or at least I hope that’s how it goes. I thought I would have seen that these past four years but man, the swamp was a lot deeper than we all thought.

2
Viking 2 points ago +2 / -0

Definitely.. I’ve seen a good mix of Trump and Biden signs around my neighborhood, but more so Trump. Thing is, I live in Douglas County which is supposed to be solidly red but I fear the Democrats might take it.

They got the cities and now they want the suburbs.. It’s sucks, but hopefully we win.
