What kind of highly trained security card so willing to use deadly force doesn’t have his concealed weapon with one in the chamber already? Seems pretty amateurish to have a concealed pistol that needs charged.
There are images of rounds being ejected from the chamber that seem like they can't be the same moment. In one, you see the bullet still in the casing. In the other, there is an empty casing. Easiest interpretation would be that he didn't realize/wasn't sure if he had one in the chute, racked the slide (ejecting the unspent round), and then fired a round (ejecting an empty casing). Maybe racking the slide was a threat.
Either that, or one or more of the photos is doctored or there's blur making it look like there's still a bullet in the casing. The images are crazy sharp though, so I'm sticking with my original interpretation for now.
