The age of adulthood should be moved back to 21 years old. This is how it used to be and for Damn good reason.

I was kind of a left centrist when I didn't know any better, but I always knew commies were evil

Me to I have always been right wing but I would have given up the right to vote for 3 years in a heartbeat to move the age up because I knew I was surrounded by emotional train wrecks with zero life experience.

Used to be until people realized it's wrong to draft people who can't vote against pro-war candidates.

Maybe we should consider 21 the age for the draft then.

If the draft is required, sure. And all citizens should register as well.

Id argue the draft is illegal, it didn't exist until the civil war and only about 60% through the civil war

18 is fine. 21 would further infantalize our society.

Or we could just trust our founding fathers judgment. Because 250 years ago they set it at 21 year old land owner.

21 is what it was until the 1970's

Because the axons in your brain don't complete myelinization until your early 20's, which means up until then there's literal crosstalk between neurons causing children to physically not be able to think like an adult.

Nah, no thanks, due to marriage, emancipation, and the simple fact that you can be on your own easily in this country at just about any age if you have money. Maybe just limit it to Americans who no longer are a dependent.
