No but I'm just saying the climate between the two states isn't exactly the same. Also, Texas only has a border to the ocean at the warm tropical gulf of mexico, but California has a border to the cold pacific ocean. These states have many climatical differences
I don't think northern Texas gets cold like Northern California and I don't think Texas has things like Redwood forests?
